Tola, and Y/N were currently awaiting the arrival of Y/N's new music tutor inside the entrance hall, while Frosino stood outside one the front steps to great the visiter.
Frosino had told them all that he had summoned a man by the name of Ilidoro to instruct Y/N in music and etiquette, and that he would be coming later that week.
It was now the day that he was supposed to arrive, Alfonse had left the night before to retrieve him, and Tola and Y/N had made themselves look presentable.
Y/N couldn't help but sigh as Tola kept messing about with her H/C hair, trying to get it to lay smoothly. The housekeeper muttered complaints under her breath as she continued to try and tidy up the girl's appearance.
Y/N had dressed in a lovely mint dress with beaded detailing, instead of her normal two-piece work dress. She had noticed that over the years, the clothes that she was given became increasingly elegant and detailed. The only problem was that they had also been increasing in length. The gown she was currently wearing was almost touching the floor, and Y/N was terrified that she would fall because of it and make a fool of herself in front of her new tutor.
The last thing she wanted was to embarrass Frosino in front of his cousin. Not only was Ilidoro from the capital city Bocio, but she heard from Alfonse that he was also a prince.
Y/N's thoughts were interrupted by the faint sound of a carriage arriving out in the courtyard. Y/N tried to steady her breathing and not let her nerves get the best of her.
After several minutes, the giant doors to the entrance hall were thrown open with gusto. A man nearly as tall as Frosino entered flamboyantly. The Archduke fallowed him inside, looking exhausted by the man's company already.
The two men actually looking strikingly similar. Both stood at about the same height, but Ilidoro was broader in the chest then the slender-built Frosino. Both had long dark hair, but Ilidoro's had a slight curl, and was not nearly as dark as Frosino's raven locks. The Archduke was pale from the cold winters and the lack of sun in the mountains, but his cousin had beautiful honey-colored skin, a gift from the temperate environment of Bocio.
Ilidoro looked around the entrance hall with a grin. He laughed heartily, then turned and said to Frosino in a booming voice filled with mirth, "it's nice to see that the castle has changed as little as you have over the years, dear cousin."
Frosino stared at his guest, "I could say the same about you, Ilidoro." he replied coldly.
Frosino's sharp reply only caused the new arrival to chuckle more. Ilidoro then removed his gaze from his surroundings and instead placed his attention on Y/N. The girl felt her legs lock up as her E/C eyes met Ilidoro's indigo ones, and she realized that his eyes mirrored Frosino's exactly.
A fire of intrigue sparked in his gaze as he stared at Y/N. Ilidoro advanced towards her and looked her up and down. He then turned to Frosino and said: "So this is the girl that you broke your solitude." He bent over so that he could get a better look at Y/N's face. "I can see why, she's a pretty little thing for a street rat, I would have never guessed if you hadn't told me how you met her."
Ilidoro continued to observe her, but, upon hearing his cousin's words, Frosino stepped forward and cuffed him on the back of the head roughly. "Apologize."
"Ouchie!" Ilidoro exclaimed, rubbing the back of his head. "What was that for?!"
"You insulted the young lady of this house," Frosino answered coldly, placing his hand on Y/N's shoulder reassuringly. "Now apologize."
Ilidoro bowed to the girl, and lifted her hands. He lowered his forehead to them gently before he said: "Please pardon me, noble lady, I spoke out of turn."
