Hi there! So, my name is Laura.
With all of this confinement stuff going on, at one point I got reeaally bored. That was until I remembered those good old times when I used to read books on Wattpad and got a sudden need to re-download it.
I stumbled upon Next Level Player by my girl @evryday_imstumblin, and so many good memories came flooding back into my head. So much so, that I decide it to re-read it, and boy did I not regret it, LOL. It's one of my favourites in this app.
Anyway, I started wondering how Jade would move on from everything that happened between her and Leon and I felt this strong urge to write about it. Keep in mind that I have never written anything in my life, but I guess quarantine can make you do some weird stuff.
I talked to the author about it, who was super on board, (She was so helpful too like ooh, girl. If you're reading this you truly are the best) and that's how this all came about.
Now, I am well aware that spin-offs and sequels are never as good as the original but I tried my best not to butcher Next Level Player considering that I, too, am a die hard fan of the book. I don't want to make promises I can't keep but I can only hope that, with the author's help and some dedication, I can serve the original some justice and give y'all the sequel you've always wanted, lol.
By the way this story is entirely planned and almost entirely written, so stay tuned for updates.
Objectively speaking (I ain't biased or anything, it's not like it's my book😙) I would give the book a chance until chapter 3, which is where shit starts to go down and Jade begins to go all in, hehe. If you still don't enjoy it after that then, by all means, put it down. I promise I won't be mad.

PS: To all NLP fans, I truly am sorry that I can't bless you guys with all of Timmy's evil scheming in the author notes, I hope you can understand, xD. Although, the main characters will probably make random appearances in the author notes throughout the course of the book, especially Jade.
