Scars of War

Zira's army and Kion's army clashed with each other while Kion attempts to retrieve Zuri. Kion looked through the chaos but he couldn't find her."ZURI," cried Kion. He ran through the battle, hoping he could find his girlfriend. The 12 year old cob began to worry but then he was pinned down by an outlander lioness. But before she could land a blow on Kion, a familiar Lioness  knocked the outlander off Kion."Miss me,"she teased

"ZURI,"shouted Kion as he happily hugged her,"I thought I lost you"

"I'm fine, this lion named Kovu rescued me, he really is into your sister"

"where is he"

Zuri pointed over to kovu who was struggling against a few outlanders. Kion then ran over and knocked away the outlanders."Hey Kovu,"said Kion

"Kion, im really glad you are here,"

"same, thanks for saving Zuri,"

"No problem, but do you think I could live in the pridelands, I just want to see Kiara"

"look over here,"said a Lioness walking up to Kovu

"K-kiara"

"Kovu"

"its uh its been a while,"said Kovu trying not to blush at the sight of Kiara.

"uh yeah it has, I missed you"she said hugging Kovu

"I missed you too,"said Kovu returning the hug

"aww, thats so sweet,"teased Zira walking up to the lion cubs,"but i'm afraid you wont be together for much longer,"she said as she raised her paw, claws unsheathed, to strike Kovu and Kiara."ZIRA," shouted Kion as he jumped at Zira

"Kion, its so good to see you"

"its over Zira, I have you where I want you"said Kion as he attacked Zira. The Lioness might be stronger, but Kion used his smaller size to his advantage to easily dodge Zira's attacks. But Zira still managed to land a few blows on the lion cub and knock him down. Kion tried to get up, but Zira landed another blow on the side of Kion's face. Kion struggled to get up but he couldn't, he was too weak, Zira had won."I dreamed of this day,"said Zira smiling at the sight of the Injured cub,"the day that I would Kill Simba's son"she said as she prepares to strike down Kion.

"BUT HIS SON, IS MY BOYFRIEND," shouted Zuri Pouncing on Zira. Zira fell back from Zuri's attack and looked at the lioness cub."do you honestly think you stand a chance against me"said Zira, taunting the lioness.

"No, but I won't let you hurt Kion"

"and i wont let you hurt Zuri,"said Kion, standing Next to his girlfriend.

"then you both will die,"

Kion and Zuri worked together to attack Zira. Kion smiled to himself, he was fighting alongside the love of his life. Both cubs fought together perfectly, their fighting was in sync with each other like it was against Janja and his clan. Zira was being overwhelmed by the two cubs, when she tried to attack one cub, the other would land a blow on her, she was outmatched. Their fight led the the edge of the top of the gorge. Zira was knocked down, and was now hanging on for her life. Kion tried to save her, but Zira would rather die then accept defeat. But she knows she would have the last laugh, she smiled at Kion as she fell to her death, knowing what was in store for Kion. Kion could only watch in shock as Zira plummeted to the ground, dying before his very eyes.

Kion and Zuri walked back and the fighting stopped. Word got around that Zira was dead. But little did anyone know, but Zira had a plan for this, she told Ushari that if she was to die, then to do something. Ushari followed Kion, before striking him on his eye, giving him a scar. Kion used the roar to get rid of Ushari, but something was wrong with him. He felt a sudden burst of Rage and Anger. Bunga tried to ask kion what was going on with him, but Kion roared at Bunga. "BUNGA," shouted Kion when he realized what he had done."IM FINE,"said Bunga, who was unharmed from the fall.

"whats going on Kion,"asked Zuri

"I dont know, I just feel angry, and my eye hurts,"explained Kion

"we should see Rafiki"

Kion and Zuri went to Rafiki to see what was going on. Rafiki explained the venom is making it difficult for Kion to tell the difference between right and wrong, so they need to heal him quickly, and in order to do that, they need to go to the Tree of Life. At first Kion wasn't alright with leaving the pridelands, but the outlanders have been dealt with in the battle against Zira, so Kion was convinced to go. Zuri decided to tag along, to look after kion, along with the rest of the Guard. Kion and Zuri stopped walking when they reached the boarder of the pridelands and turned around, they saw Simba and Nala standing on pride rock, along with Kiara and Kovu, and Tiffu. They smiled and made their way to the Tree of Life.

Just to clarify, everyone is the same age as they were in season 1 of the lion guard. But yes this ends this story arc. And now for the Final story arc that will last for the Final 3 parts of this story. I hope you like the New cover, personally this is one of my favorites.
