Found Her

Lexi's POV

     I have turned my phone off and I went to a secret spot that even Kevin and Cory don't know about, Its a place Rebecca and I would go and hide from her brother who happened to be Marcus. I look at the tree we had carved our names in it says BFFS with our names on it. "I miss you Becca. I wish you were still here." I say crying. "I wish she was still here too." I jump at the voice I wipe my eyes and turn around to see Marcus standing there. "What are you doing here?" I ask angrily. "Jessie and everyone is looking for you." He states leaning on a tree and eating candy from a bag. "So? Just leave me alone." "I'm not gonna leave you here by yourself at night." "Why would you care? You hate me." I say on the verge of tears. 

     "I don't hate you." He states taking a seat next to me. "Really. You ruined my life." "I didn't ruin your life." "Yes you did you gave my mom drugs and shes dead because of it." "I didn't give them to her." He says quietly. I look over to him. "Yes you did. You said so." "I said that to hurt you. But I didn't sell her drugs." "Then who did?" I ask him quietly. "I saw her and wouldn't sell to her so she went to one of my guys and he sold to her." I take a deep breathe and looked out to the creek. 

   "She loved this spot. She told me that I wasn't allowed over here." He says with a bag of m and ms offering them to me. I take a handful. "We would come out here to hide from everyone." "That sounds like her." He says "Are you going to tell them where I am?" I ask and he shrugs "No. I would want you to tell them that you are safe and sound so they aren't as worried." "They don't care." "Bullshit. Everyone is driving around looking for you." I stay quiet. "Even your dad is worried." He adds. "I don't care. He hates me and I'm done trying to have a relationship with him." "Why?" He asks. "He didn't even let me say anything he just assumed I would say that to Beth." "I don't know what happened. Want to tell me?" So I tell him the whole story and he just sits there and listens. 

   "Wow." He says after I'm done telling him what happened. "Yep. What do you think?" I ask. "Do you really want to know?" "Yes" I say honestly. "Well honestly I think that hes an ass but I don't think its worth running off and not telling anyone where you are." "I didn't run off he kicked me out." I say agitated. "Hey. I know but hes worried like everyone else." "Well If you think I should tell them why don't you?" "Because I doubt anyone of them want me near you especially after the scene we made after the funeral." "I guess your right." I grab my phone out of my pocket and turn it on. "No wonder they say it went straight to voicemail it was off." He says chuckling. I see 5 missed calls from Adam and 13 calls just between Cory and Kevin. Messages and calls from Willman and even my dad. "Wow. Didn't think about this." "Yeah. You have alot of people who care about you and want you safe. Don't scare them like that again." He says as I call Kevin. 

  "Lexi! Are you okay? Where are you?" He asks urgently. "I'm safe." "Where are you?" "It doesn't matter I just had to tell you that I'm safe." I look over to Marcus. "I'm with Marcus."  I add and I see Marcus rolling his eyes."You are with WHO!" Kevin shouts into the phone and Marcus chuckles in the background. "Relax I'm fine." "Well let me pick you up." "No I'll go to your house in a little I'll have Marcus drop me off." Marcus shakes his head no. "Fine. I love you." Kevin tells me. "I love you too. I'll see you soon." I hang up. "I'm not driving you." Marcus tells me as I get up. "Yes you are. You wouldn't want me walking alone at this time of night." I smirk at his glare he gives me. "Fine. Lets go" He gets up and we walk to his car. 

   We pull into Kevin and Jessie's driveway and Marcus and I get out of the vehicle and the front door opens and Kevin and Cory rush out giving me a bear hug. "Uh Guys I can't breathe." They pull away and Kevin turns his attention to Marcus "What did you do?" He asks angrily. "Relax loverboy. Shes fine." Marcus taunts him. "Relax Kevin. He didn't do anything." I say calming him down. We all walk into the house and Willman is standing there with Mae. "Hey Kiddo." They walk over and give me a hug each. "You had me really worried." Willman says as he pulls away. "I know. I'm sorry." I say honestly. "Marcus found me and we started talking." "I thought you hated him." Kevin says as he wraps his arms around my waist. "I did. But we talked it out. He didn't sell the drugs to my mom." I say and everyone looks between me and Marcus. 

   "Tomorrow we'll take you back to your dads." Willman tells me after we had talked and explained the whole fight. "Not happening." I say sitting on the couch leaning on Kevin. "Lexi hes your father." "Yeah. But he also kicked me out." "He was really worried Lexi." Cory tries to help Willman. "I don't care. He kicked me out. He doesn't get a say in my life." "Yes he does you are still a minor and hes your guardian." "If you take me back I'll run away again adn you won't find me." I say looking at Willman in the eyes. "I'm sorry Lexi but the law is the law." Him and Mae hug me one more time before they leave. Willman turns around. "We'll be here after noon. So you can spend time with everyone." "Fine." I tell him coldly. 

    "So. Can I stay here tonight Jessie?" I ask. "Yeah. I'll be going to a party with Marcus." "I thought you weren't going to go." Marcus says looking at Jessie. "I wasn't but since Lexis fine. Plus I don't want to hear them going at it." They all laugh as I blush hiding my face in Kevin's shoulder. We all laugh and talk about the good ole days until they all leave two hours later. Kevin turns to me as he locks the front door. "So. Should I take you on the couch or should we go to my bed room?" He asks with that sexy smirk I love so much. "Why not both." I say biting my lip as he runs and tackles me onto the couch.
