THIS IS THE END OF THE STORY. I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT. THERE IS A TIME SKIP TO THE END.

Lexi's POV

It has been 2 months since my father and I have fixed our relationship and everything is going great. Today is Adam's high school graduation and we're all exited for him. Kevin, Cory, Jessie and even Marcus are all friends with Adam and have come to celebrate with all of us.

"Kids are you ready. I don't want to be late!" I hear my father yelling at us to get downstairs since Adam is already at the school. "Ok Dad. We're ready." I say as we walk out of the house and load into one car. A few minutes later we pull into the schools parking lot and we park I look around the parking lot and see Jessie's car and see all 4 of them pile out of it. I run to Kevin and jump into his arms kissing him. "Wheres are hugs?" Jessie asks with a pout on his face and I roll my eyes and hug the rest of them.

The graduation ceremony was beautiful and we all screamed really loudly for Adam and got glares for it since apparently we are suppose to wait till the end to cheer. Oh well. The 4 guys, Beth, Adam and I are at the cafe eating food. "So, Hows rehab Marcus?" I ask him. He went to rehab after I talked him into it, I can't lose another person because of drugs. "Its okay. I'm 1 month sober now." He says and we all cheer for him. "Are you ready for college Adam?" Jessie asks him and he nods. "I'm so ready to get out of here." We all laugh and talk about random stuff for another 2 hours and then decide to head home.

The next morning my father and I do our morning run as we stop to catch our breathe I look over to him. "Whats wrong Lexi?" He ask me worriedly. "Nothing. I'm just glad that we are good now." I say honestly and he nods. "I am too. It scared me when no one had heard from you on that day." "Really? You never said anything." I ask surprised. "I know. But you will not believe how worried and scared I was that something had happened to you." "I know. But I'm kinda glad we got in that fight." I say and he looks at me like I grew two heads. "What? Why?" He asks curiously. "Because then it would have stayed in our systems and maybe it would have been worse that it was." "True. You could have left and never came back." He says quietly thinking I didn't hear him But I did. "Then I'm really glad we got in that fight." "Me too." He says and we laugh.

We continue walking home and I stop and he stops aswell looking at me. "I love you dad." I finally say for the first time in 10 years. He looks taken back but quickly adjusts and looks at me with a smile on his face. "I love you too Lexi" He says and I hug him and  we stay like that for a minute or so. "Race you home?" He asks. "Alrighty. Old man thinks he can beat me." "Who are you calling old man kid?" He taunts and he counts down and when he says go we are off to the house.
