The Snake Bite {1}

Chapter 5: The Freezing Biome

This may be a short chapter but oh well.

     We were trudging through the deep ice cold snow that comes up to my knees with the wind blowing hard making it even more cold. "I-It's so c-cold" Bunga said rubbing his shoulders trying to warm up, "well no duh it's snow" I said rolling my eyes trying to concentrate on moving forward. "I think I see a cave to keep us warm for the time being and then we can go back on through" Ono said from above. "Ok lead the way" I said and we just kept walking towards a big cave with enough room to house all of us.

     We all walked in and huddled up to keep warm, I felt uncomfortable having my fur touched but it was either that or freeze to death. And of course Azaad had to huddle up closer to me, I just wanted to kick him out of the cave and let him freeze. "This is nice" Bunga said from in between Beshte and One, also Ono was huddled up beside Anga which wasn't that bad for them. "Yeah. Real nice" I said sarcastically rolling my eyes and glaring at Azaad who was resting his head on my shoulder.

After a few more minutes we headed back out feeling the cold air blow against almost instantly draining our heat we saved up. "Well let's go the Remedy won't get to the Pridelands by itself" Bunga said and we left. Bunga again like in the canyon was making jokes, "hey guess is it just me or does that patch of snow have spots?" Ono said and we all saw a patch of snow with spots and it started moving. Soon it turned into a carnivore of some sort, it looked like a snow leopard. "Who are you?" I asked getting into battle stance, "the names Chulunn" the female leopard said.

     "Well if you can kindly move we will de on our way" Beshte said politely, "well this is my territory so no one is going through without a fight" Chulunn said. "I'll do it" Bunga said, "you sure?" I said, "does a bee have stripes?" Bunga said with a smile. "Fine" I said and sat down next to Beshte and Ono, " a badger?" Chulunn said stifling her laughter. "He has stuff you wouldn't like" I said with a small smile. "Try me" she said and got in a fighting position, Bunga just smiled and jumped onto the leopards back and she kicked and tried to shake him off like a zebra would.

Bunga then covered her eyes and she frantically ran around and finally smashed into a rock wall. She got knocked out and fell to the ground in a matter of seconds, "got her" Bunga said and smiled at us. "You sure did" I said and we walked past her and into her territory, we searched around for a exit out of this freezing biome. After what seemed like hours we saw the sun go down and found a nice cave to sleep in. I was excited and also upset about it, I was excited because I get to see Kion again and he always makes me happy. I was upset because we need to get there fast and also it's cold and I just want to get out of here.

     But when I fell asleep I didn't see Kion, I just had a normal dream so I felt worried all night and had a nightmare not long after that when we got back with the Remedy he would already be dead. I just told myself to get it together and get ready for the morning because now I was even more anxious to get the Remedy.

I'm so sorry for the short chapter but I had nothing else to write also a new character Chulunn from Season 3. Also not Onga (Ono x Anga)!!!
