YOUR POV

"Well (Y/N), have a good night and we will discuss about the muggle candies soon.", the headmaster winks at me.

I caught up on his excuse and bid my farewell to both of them. I gently closed the door and sighed. I just hope he wasn't eavesdropping our conversation, it's already a pain that the Headmaster knows about it but I guess it's okay since I want to learn more about my real family and my parents's reason for leaving me. All I know that is they are already six feet under and it's a bummer that I wasn't able to at least meet them, and I guess give them a hug. I'm not mad at them for leaving me it's just... maybe I'm sad? I guess they have a valid reason for leaving me. I hope.

As I walk through the hallway lost in my own thoughts, I felt that I'm not the only at the hallway and I quickly grabbed my wand from the insides of my cape. Tonight, only the moon is the source of light, its white light is illuminating the hallway which makes it a bit scary, I put a stop on my steps and breathe steadily trying not to get nervous.

*tap tap tap*

There, a quick and barely audible sound. Footsteps? Perhaps it's from Sir Filch? No. It's too light for a person's footsteps. I try to look around but I didn't see a thing nor a person. Maybe it was just my imagination, I continued walking until I reach a turn to our dormitory.

*tap tap tap*

I heard it again! I quickly cast a light spell towards the direction of the sound.

"Lumos", I whispered.

I see a medium-sized black shadow near the painting, it's a... dog? It's small than Fang's size so it's impossible that it's Fang. I moved a few steps closer to it, and it seems to notice me. It's grey eyes shines from the light of the moon met my blue eyes that is now back to violet and stared deeply into my soul.

"Harry.", did it spoke?

'Clearly that's impossible! Where did that voice come from?'

I shrugged my thoughts and I noticed that the dog is getting closer to me, the grip on my wand tightens and I am ready to cast a defensive spell at it in case it decides to attack me. A few more steps is taken by the dog and I see a small portion of light from behind and I took a quick glance. Looks like someone is coming from this direction, I hurry to look back at the dog but it's not there anymore.

"Miss Burns? Why are you still here? It's late. Go to your dormitory now!", a deep voice behind me said.

"Yes, professor Snape. Sorry, have a pleasant night.", I turned and went to my dormitory.

I hopped on my bed after I cleaned myself and as my thoughts went away, I fell fast asleep.
