Chapter 17

-- Terms of the Agreement -- 

Third Person's POV

Three young Gryffindors clapped their hands loudly while smiling at their older friend who is blushing from their reaction. 

"You were amazing (y/n)!", cheered Hermione.

"I really wish we could see another performance..", Harry shyly looked down as he scratch his nape.

"(Y/N) YOU GOTTA REPEAT YOUR PERFORMANCE AT THE PARTY FOR US WHEN WE GET BACK!", Ron hugged her tight

"I'll try.", (y/n) twirls some hair strands as she chuckles.

"Oh! I know, why don't you record it?", Hermione said as she shuffles something in her bag.

She pulls a small, black, camera recorder out of her bag and hands it to (y/n), "I believe you know how to operate this, right?"

"Of course! This will be handy, don't worry I will record the performance and tell you how it went.", (y/n) hugs her three friends before they part ways and head back to their rooms.

In the other end, Headmaster Dumbledore is quietly writing some reports about his students' academic performances for their parents or guardians, got interrupted when a fairly sized gorgeous white owl swoops through his open window near his bookshelves and elegantly lands on his desk and puts down a letter from its beak. 

"My, how lovely you are my dear. Here, have some treats before you go back.", he gently put his left hand near the owl and it pecked some treats and flew away.

"Now... what do we have here?", curiously eyeing the letter on his desk that was delivered by the white owl.

Dumbledore rips the right side of the envelop and unfolds a piece of parchment.. it reads:

Dear Headmaster Dumbledore,

 It is a pleasure to hear from you, in behalf of my parents since they are out of the country for work I am writing you their response for your letter. I have told them about what you have written and they are absolutely pleased that my darling sister is doing so well there, sadly we were looking forward for (y/n)'s return here for her Holiday break but since her staying there means that she will excel more, our parents gladly accepts your offer of making her an apprentice and giving her advance lessons! 

You don't know how proud we are for her, we truly appreciated the fact that you considered us to be her second family, we love her so much Headmaster Dumbledore. In fact, even if she's a young adult now, you might not believe it but me and (y/n) are very close!

Although even our parents accepts your offer, we have some conditions. She will be going home and stay with us once her summer break begins, we deeply miss her presence here and I hope you won't hold her for too long. Father also wanted to let you know that when my dear sister makes a mistake or break any rules there, you can punish her in any way/s you see fit so she would be molded into a good witch! 

Kindly tell (y/n) that her dear big brother misses her so much and can't wait to see her again, thank you!

As the old headmaster reads the awful letter, he wanted to strangle the man who wrote it for lying and mistreating his student. 

"They want her back and I am just lucky that they accepted my offer. I will never let (y/n) go back to that awful family, I have to think another offer so she won't need to suffer any longer.", he looks calmly at the letter before going out of his office.
