Arlo tried to remain calm in search for John, visiting almost every food stalls and nearby restaurants in hopes that the other man actually went out to eat. Unfortunately for him, John is nowhere in sight, and the longer he searches, the more irritated Arlo becomes.

Fucking John, still so reckless and stubborn. Where the hell has he gone now?

He's been asking around if they've seen a man with a black hair and golden eyes, but so far, no one had mentioned encountering a man of his description.

With no luck on finding him on the restaurants, Arlo started searching on the beach itself.

The whole beach was wide, and finding John was extremely difficult due to the fact that he had no way of contact with him.

No phones, no nothing- and Arlo doesn't want to shout his name in a crowded beach, and John also isn't also a kid that needs to be reported to the guards. If there's something that Arlo wanted to avoid, it would be any of them causing any attention, as the authorities probably are on search for them now.

And whatever it is that John wanted to do, it's his fucking decision. Arlo knew that, and yet...

He's been walking on the shore for hours, still looking for John.

It was even passed lunch now, and Arlo must have thrown every single curse at John inside his head.

Arlo just can't understand why John left, when their argument couldn't even be called an arguement. John haven't even eaten anything neither did he slept, did he seriously think that he can last under the sun for a long time?

It infuriates him.

The blond had gotten burnt from the hours he spent looking for John. His feet had blisters, and he was getting exhausted due to the extreme heat.

Arlo was so close on throwing everything that John had planned since he wasn't even there. He was tempted to turn his phone on, and inform Seraphina about this whole ridiculous thing. That now, John is missing.

But instead, he kept on looking and asking. He wasn't having much luck, until he asked the guards on the resort's gate.

The guard said that a man with a black hair left this morning, and Arlo felt so stupid. He looked for him all over the beach, and he was no longer here.

Where the hell did you go?

Arlo immediately returned to their room. John's backpack was still there, and only his messenger bag was gone.

John would return for sure, but still, a part of Arlo feels anxious.

What if something bad had happened to John? The other man had no sleep, and this place isn't somewhere that they're familiar with. If John got lost, or if he fainted on the broad daylight, Arlo wouldn't know.

The blond took a deep breath. Those thoughts are only out of guilt.

John had already given him enough headache during their Wellston years, how is it that he still keeps on giving him headaches until now?

Maybe, this is partly Arlo's fault too. He shouldn't have agreed on this ridiculous plan. Or, if he's going back on the very root of his recent problem,

He shouldn't have commented on John's inexperience in drinking that night. It only provoked John, and look where it led them?

Him and John just doesn't go together well. So, he should've known that the best thing to do is ignore each other's existence.

Well, too late for that.

The blond could only hope that John's stubbornness doesn't backfire, and that he'll return here unharmed.
