John had immediately fallen asleep that night, while Arlo was awake for a few more hours before eventually dozing off.

Arlo woke-up early for the next day as well, while John remained asleep until lunch time.

Arlo didn't bothered waking him-up in an earlier hour since he needed to make-up for his lack of sleep. Other than that, it was more peaceful when John was asleep, and Arlo had more time to collect his thoughts.

It had always been like this, whenever he got involved with John, it was only him clouding his mind.

During the last part of his Wellston years, everything seemed to revolve around John; he spent a month plotting to get him exposed, and days to get him to move on his own. He spent a lot of his energy despising John, seeing him as nothing more than a pathetic man. Then, he was thinking about ways for him to make it up to him. He became aware of how it had been his own fault, he tried thinking of ways to stop him until eventually, he just got tired of dealing with John.

And when things got settled with him and the hierarchy, Arlo graduated, and John never crossed his mind again, unless he was thinking of the people who's ever beaten him, or whenever someone brought-up his name.

He's seen John at different shades and perspective before, but this,

When he looked down earlier to check on John, he knew that he shouldn't be gazing on his sleeping face, and that his hands shouldn't be reaching out.

His thoughts shouldn't linger, but Arlo spent a few seconds stroking John's hair, and could only retract his hand when he realized what he was doing.

Knowing that he already slept with him was messing with his head, and the fact that John was currently naked behind those thick layers of blanket didn't helped at all.

And for that, Arlo thought that he might be going insane.

Perhaps, it could also be because of the hungry kisses he started to recall on the few hours that he was awake. Him kissing John, and John clinging on him. Their kiss getting hungrier, and clothes being stripped. Him leaving marks on his neck, and John moaning his name-

His recollection made him feel things. He hadn't thought much of the discovery of them having a drunken sex before, but now that he was able to recall a bit more, he couldn't help but question himself.

Is his concern more than just irritation?

Even if he thought that this was a ridiculous plan, why did he even agreed?

He believed himself to heavily dislike John, yet somehow, he was fine with with spending possibly a week or so with just the two of them alone.

Perhaps, this was just his memories messing with him, and thanks to it, interacting with John became even more awkward.

"What time is it?" the dark haired man asked, recently just waking-up.

He was sitting on the mattress, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand.

"It's time for lunch. It's best that we eat first."

John stood-up, and Arlo tried not to look below his waist, focusing on his upper body instead. The marks on his neck and chest still hasn't faded, but it was on the process of getting better.

Now that Arlo had gotten a better look of him, John had gotten a bit tanned but it wasn't too noticeable unlike Arlo who's gotten a sunburn. It was only a single shade darker, the bite marks though... It stood out from his skin, despite a few old scars on John's torso.

If ever him and John really have went with their plan yesterday of getting tanned together to make their alibi more believable, every stranger seeing them would think that they were sexually involved with each other.
