Mike was seated at the desk in his home office looking at the framed picture of his late wife and three children who were now all deceased. It felt like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders and a sense of heaviness overwhelmed him as he sat there trying to make sense of it all. He swallowed at the persistent lump in his throat, fighting hard at the tears that threatened to come out. It has been several weeks since Julia was finally laid to rest. Claudia walked up to the office and stood in the doorway of the office leaning against the door frame. "I told you dinner was ready almost an hour ago."
Mike sighed and put the picture back on the desk. "I'm sorry."
"How long is this going to go on for?" Claudia asked irate. "Ever since we are back from Hawaii we don't have dinner together anymore. We don't do things together anymore. It's like you are shutting me out of your life."
Mike stood up. "My daughter is dead, in case you forgot."
"Yes and nothing you can do will bring her back. Mike you need to deal. You need to move on. It's like you are stuck in the past. We cannot go on like this."
"How?" Mike shrugged. "It's easy for you to say Claudia. You still have Alice and Amy. I have nothing left! Nothing!"
"So I don't mean anything to you?"
"I didn't say that."
"No, no. I get it. Your dinner is in the microwave if you get hungry. I'm going upstairs."
Claudia was about to leave when she turned to face Amy who was also upset. "Are you guys ever going to stop fighting? Every single day all I have to hear are you guys fighting. I have also had enough. And so has Alice!"
Claudia continued towards the staircase and Mike watched as Amy headed for the front door. "Where are you going young lady?"
"Does it matter?"
"Amy!" Mike watched as she opened the front door to leave and closed his eyes as she went outside and slammed the front door shut. "Dammit..."

The Cabana off the navy base was a popular hang out spot for the seals after hours. Sancha Chavez was playing pool with the guys and sunk another black ball before she downed a shot of Tequila. "Dang if you are good you're good."
"Way to go Chavez!" one of the guys cheered her on.
She turned her focus to the door as Bianca Grace stepped into the pub. She hardly recognised her dressed in a babydoll dress and kitty heels with her hair down. "Grace!"
Bianca turned her focus to Sancha. "Would you like to join?"
"Sure."
"Where's Hale?" she asked curiously.
"We broke up."
"Seriously?" Sancha asked surprised. "Idiot."
"I swear I am done with men."
"Well what can I say? Can't live them, can't live without them. Why do you think I'm still single?" she asked before downing another shot of Tequila.
