I heard my phone buzz and tiredly answered whoever was calling at 6:30 in the morning.

"HEY THERE DELILAH!" my best friend sang into the phone.

She only greeted me like that because she knows I hate it and it would waken me up. Paige really doesn't have any limits when it comes to stuff like that.

"What do you want?" I tiredly muttered into the phone. At this point she could ask for £1,000,000 and I would give it to her if it made her go away.

"My mum kinda left for work early and I was out dancing with Robin all night and didn't bring a key."

"Come on over," I said, listening to her sorry excuses makes me feel exhausted for some reasons.

I hung up and waited a while for the knock on the door which came exactly when it hit 6:59. I shuffled my way to the door, not wanting to put too much effort into walking, and unchained it. Paige was wearing a silver sequenced dress which stopped mid thigh and heels that were the length of my hand.

I slid back into bed and was followed by Paige a few minutes after. She had Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough in her hands and a spoon in her mouth. She pulled my spoon from her bra and handed it to me. Attractive.

She told me about last nights events and how she got it on with Robin. I was only half listening. Her blabbering on reminded me of Jessie. I couldn't help but smile when I said his name in my head.

"What are you so flustered about?" Paige asked me, dunking her spoon in and lifting a big ass bit of cookie dough.

I shrugged it off but Paige caught on to the dirty scent of me. She always could.

"Is it a boy?" she questioned, noticing the slight glint in my eyes.

Her mouth dropped and eyes sparkled. It's not everyday you find out that Delilah Moon has a new friend, who is a boy. A foreign species to me. The only boys I talk to except family members is Paige's boyfriend and my friend Alex.

"Who? When? How? Details!" Paige said excitedly. I rolled my eyes at her enthusiasm and started to spill.

"I met him yesterday; he is called Jessie and it's not really a big deal. Except he is really hot but I'll deny it if you ever bring it up. He is a lot like you, friendly, forward and doesn't give a damn in the world what people's opinion of him is. He's... nice."

"Where'd you meet him?" She asked, taking the last spoonful of Ben & Jerry's.

"On the fire escape. He just moved upstairs," I said casually.

BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. Paige jumped out of bed and out the window before I could totally understand what was happening. I got out of my daze and hurriedly followed her, but she wasn't on the fire escape. I went up to Jessie's level and noticed his window open.

I peered in and noticed my tall friend gleaming down at a sleeping Jessie. This was so embarrassing.

"Paige!" I whisper-shouted at her but I must have been too loud as Jessie seemed to stir.

What if he calls the cops on us for trespassing? Oh God, this is so so so embarrassing.

When his dark eyes finally popped open, friendly Paige was there to greet him with a handshake.

"Good morning Jessie, I'm Paige, Delilah's number one best friend. It's a pleasure to meet you," she said, shaking his hand.

He looked over at me and grinned, and God did sleepy Jessie look hot. We were looking at each other for a few moments, which Paige must have caught onto, over wise she wouldn't have just said, "De, I'm gonna hop to your loo. Be back in five minutes or so."
