after my father left the room he quickly dismissed all of the guards. I follow him as he heads to his second favorite place in the castle.  the library is filled with books nearly the size of the grand hall a copy of almost every book in Asgard lay within its depths. though it was huge, it was used by few, my father, my grandmother and sometimes a few of her handmaidens, and that was it. I loved the feel of the room. it smelled musty like an old book, but yet fresh like a new one.  the lighting was simple and cast more of a yellow glow around the room. in the middle, their was a small opening, where a bunch of cozy armchairs, couches and a table lay. it was here that my father was heading towards. I sit down opposite him and change my clothes from the formal morning to regular comfy, my father does the same.

"I may not of liked him but he was still my brother." my father says holding his head in his hands.

"we didn't know what Odin would do, its not your fault, and maybe just maybe, Thor will change."

"I know little star, but would that be in the benefit of Asgard?" he asks, looking up at me. "soon enough Sif and Heimdall will figure out that it was us who let the frost giants in.

"I know that you are going to be an excellent king for who knows how long, and you will help Asgard, and I think after a while Odin will relies which son should really be king." I say.

"Natt, Odin will never make a monster a king." my father replies. I think back to what happened earlier in the day.

"father, your not a monster." I say.

"but I am, Frost giants have long been an enemy of Asgard, I am the enemy."

"just because you are of their race, does not mean that you are the enemy. father it is your beliefs and feelings that make you an enemy. I myself am half frost giant, an-"

"I have cursed you." I get cut off by my father. I go over to him and sit down next to him laying my head on his shoulder.

"it is not a curse." I say quietly.

"no one will look at us the same, I have cursed you to live a life of misery." I sit their and think for a while before coming up with something to say.

"then we shall be cursed together." I say, me and my father don't speak for the rest of the night, rather we fall asleep on the couch.

I wake up the next morning lying down on my father, who is stroking my head looking down at me. I smile and look up at him. he is staring off into nowhere trying to figure something out. I start to shift, catching his attention.

"good morning little star" he says.

"I am not so little" I say, still tired. I slowly stand up and stretch.

"I was thinking, we should pay a visit to my brother today." he says. I look over at him surprised. "I know that as soon as Odin wakes up he will come never let me have the throne again, if we can change Thor, and have him come back realizing he was foolish and arrogant, their is a chance he can convince father that I am the one who should have the throne."

"so we are going to go tell him what exactly?" I ask.

"that Odin died, and it was his fault." I look at my father appalled.

"are you sure it would work." I ask slightly apprehensive to this plan.

"Thor has always had a week spot for deaths that he has caused, I am quite sure. meet me here at noon." he says.

"very well, I will take breakfast in my room." I say, before walking out of the library and to my room, which is right next to my fathers but, still it gives me a little privacy.

at noon I meet my father in the library, and notice he is in midgardian were, I quickly change as well, into a mid length dark purple dress with black accents. he nods approvingly at me. I make sure that I have a few daggers hidden beneath my dress, because though I have magic, I would not rely to heavily on it.

"where on midgard are we going father?" I ask.

"a desert, in a place called new Mexico, Thor landed their and has gotten himself in trouble with the law already, we shall visit him in his cell." I nod, and grab onto his outstretched elbow. we teleport into the room where Thor is being held. he is sitting in a chair, looking very depressed, in any other circumstance I would have laughed at my uncle. the room is made of glass, and metal painted white.

"Loki! what are you doing here?" he asks when he notices us. I roll my eyes, do I even exist to him?

"we had to see you."

"we?" Thor asks, he then sees me standing behind my father. "Natt is that you?" I merely nod before he looks back to his brother. "what's happened?" he asks, concern noticeable in his voice. "tell me. is it Jotunheim? let me explain to father." he says.

"father is dead." Loki says, I look down at the ground, hoping to sell the statement. Thor sits their for a moment trying to comprehend what my father just said.

"what?" he finally manages to get out.

"your banishment, the threat of a new war, it was too much for him to bear." my father says, his voice reaching a level he has only ever used with me. "you mustn't blame yourself. I know that you loved him. I tried to tell him so, but he wouldn't listen." my father then switches gears. "it was so cruel to put the hammer within your reach, knowing that you could never lift it." my father swallows before continuing. "the burden of the throne has fallen to me now."

"can I come home?" Thor asks, almost begging. I know my father wont let him though.

"the truce with Jotunheim is conditional upon your exile."

"yes, but couldn't we find a way.."

"and mother has forbidden your return." I twitch at this statement. Grandmother would never forbid someone from returning. I know that Thor will stop fighting at this. "this is good bye brother, I'm so sorry."

"no. I am sorry." I almost gasp at this. the Thor I knew would never say sorry, but I guess the plan is working. "Thank you for coming here"

"farewell." I was silent during most of this, but I walk up and hug my uncle before walking back in line with my father. we then teleport, but not before I catch Thor's last words.

"goodbye"

Thanks for reading guys, this chapter was not fun because it would not save, and it kept publishing two words, but if your reading this I got it figured out. anyways, I had fun writing the first bit because it's not in the movie, and the second part was fun because its such a dramatic moment. by the way were now over halfway through the movie in time, were at 1:04:28.
