Loki's Daughter ( an avengers fan fiction)

Chapter 13

My father and I have set up base far away from any known civilization. there are dozens of brain washed scientists wandering around and building a machine that will although my father to bring the Chitauri through to Midgard. we sit in a hallway away from the main activity, just waiting. I feel the pull at the back of my mind, and suddenly me and my father are back with the Titan.

"the Chitauri grow restless" the other says, in his raspy voice.

"let them gird themselves" my father replies. "I will lead them in the glorious battle." my father and the other start walking in a circle around a rock, I stay back and watch.

"battle?" the other spits. "against the meager might of earth?"

"Glorious, not lengthy" my father supplies. "if your force is as formidable as you claim."

"you question us, you question him? he who put the scepter in your hand? who gave you ancient knowledge and new purpose when you were cast out, and defeated." my father stops walking.

"I was a king!" my father shouts. "the rightful king of Asgard, betrayed"

"your ambition is little" the other says, walking back towards my father. "and born of childish need, we look beyond the earth, to the greater worlds the tesseract will unveil"

"you don't have the tesseract yet" my father says, the other is quickly above him ready to end his life, but my father doesn't falter. "I don't threaten. but until I open the doors, until your force is mine to command, you are but words."

"you will have your war, asgardian if you fail, if the tesseract is kept from us, there will  be no realm, no barren moon, no crevice, where he cant find you" the Other whispers the last part in my fathers ear, but I still hear it. " you think you know pain. he will make you long for something as sweet as pain." my father then goes  back to earth, but I remain. the other looks at me, and then leaves, it seems Thanos want's to talk to me alone.

"Daughter, my reign gets ever closer, and I want you at my side." he says, in his raspy voice.

"Father" I say, the word forcing its way out of my lips. it feels wrong, to call him that. "I will do all I can to reach that goal."

"you know what will happen if you fail" he says. I remember what happened when I defied him.

I was in  a large room.  Thanos stood over my prone form on the ground. you see my 'siblings' as he wanted me to call them and I had been called down. he was hashing out a plan, for now we were going to start wiping out half the population on  several planets, he wanted me to go down and help. I of course said no, he had sent the rest of his kidnapped children out of the room before grabbing me and throwing me on the ground.

"you will learn not to defy me daughter!" he says. I only look up and whimper, I know what he is capable of. "I don't wish to do this to you, but you have to learn." then came the pain, like nothing I had ever come close to before. I lost all concept of feeling, I heard screaming, and somewhere in the back of my mind I knew it was mine. he stopped, after what seemed like hours, but was no more then a minute. I lay there, unable to move, or do anything, just thinking about the pain.

I never disobeyed him again after that. it was something no one should ever have to experience, and something that I never wanted to happen again. I was sent back to earth, where I land next to my actual father.  me and my father, walked up to where the doctor was messing with the tesseract.

"hey!" he says when he see's my father. "The tesseract has shown me so much its more than knowledge. its truth."

"I know" my father replies. "what did it show you, Agent Barton?" he asks the agent.

"My next target" he replies.

"tell me what you need." my father tells the assassin, as he walks over to a case, he opens it and pulls out a compact bow.

"I need a distraction." he replies. "and an eyeball." he adds as an afterthought.

my father nods and looks at me. I follow him to another room, where he changes into midgardian clothing. (is it sad I almost put muggle instead of midgardian?)

"come, were going to a party." he tells me turning around to face me.

"a party how will that help." I ask in a slightly sarcastic voice.

"well easily be spotted by SHEILD, and they'll take us hostage." I start to catch on to the plan.

"from their we can wind them up on the inside, and take them out." I say. he nods. I myself change into a dark purple dress with black lace on the neck line.

"now be careful Natt, I don't want you getting hurt." he says, before coming over and kissing my forehead.

"don't worry father, midgardians cant do anything to hurt me, I'm more worried they'll figure out what were doing."

"there far to dull for that. come lets go." Loki says, holding out his arm for me to grab. I grip the crook of his elbow, and we teleport to Germany.

Hi guys, I know it's been a while since I updated, I'm so sorry about that. I just was busy, because the last week of school, overlapped with the first week of my online summer class. I also will probably only be able to post on the weekends now, because of my online class. but anyways, were now 37:23 seconds into the movie. hope you all are staying safe and having a good summer,
