Loki's Daughter ( an avengers fan fiction)

Chapter 20

"They call me terrorist, radical, zealot, because I obey the ancient laws of my people, the kree. and punish those who do not. because I do not forgive your people for taking the life of my father, and his father, and his father before him. a thousand years of war between us will not be forgotten!" Ronan yells at the xandarian as I hide in the shadows with my sister.

"you can't do this! our government signed a peace treaty." the xandarian yells back

"my government knows no shame. you xandarians and your culture are a disease." he responds, picking up what can only be described as his war hammer.

"you, will never rule xandar." the guy says.

"no. I will cure it!" he yells, before turning around and slamming the hammer into the guys skull. me and nebula step out of the shadows and stand further away from ronan as he watches the blood run into the middle of the shape, pattern, thing. (I don't know what to call it)

"ronan" nebula says. "korath has returned."

we quickly make our way to the main room, where korath stands waiting.

"master, he is a thief." he says. "an outlaw who calls himself star-lord" I choke on air, before starting a silent giggle. this man has shown up in my head for skeaming so many times, and the way his brain works is so whimsical I get a headache after a minute of looking through it. "but we have discovered he has an agreement to retrieve the orb for an intermediary known as the broker."

"I promised Thanos I would retrieve the orb for him. only then will he destroy xandar for me." he quickly stands up. "Nebula, stjerne (Natt's middle name if you remember, her first name just didn't work to well.) go to xandar and get me the orb."

"it will be my honor." nebula says walking up quickly.

"it will be your doom." gamora says before I can even get a word out of my mouth. "if this happens again, you'll be facing our father without his prize."

"I am a daughter of Thanos. just like you"

"but I know xandar."

"Ronan has already decreed that I"

"do not speak for me." he then turns to Gamora "you will not fail." he asks.

"have I ever?" is her response. we quickly leave.

in the ship I take my chance to confront her.

"I know what your doing" I say.

" I knew you would. but you wont tell."

"disappearing will be dangerous, nebula will come for you, and father will not hesitate to punish me."

"I figured you would come with."  she says looking back at me. a frown on her face. I shake my head.

"while father cant hurt you out hear, he can me. I will not suffer endlessly so that I may see my dad again." I say. I had taken to referring to Loki as dad, it seemed wrong to refer to Thanos and him with the same word.

"then all I can ask is you stay silent, and ill make it look like you had no idea." I just sigh.

we quickly reach xandar and I find this star-lords position rather quickly. now all we have to do is steal the orb, have gamora give it to me, and then let her leave.

Gamora positions herself next to the door, and I put myself on top of the building. if he doesn't work with us, ill just trap him and then get the stupid orb.

"hey we had a deal, bro!" the guy yells at the door. oh goody, he still has it. he looks over at gamora who's licking her knife.

"what happened." she asks casually.

"ah, this guy just backed out of a deal with me. if there's one thing I hate, its a man without integrity. peter quill. people call me star-lord." he says.

"you have the bearing of a man of honor."

"well, you know, I wouldn't say that. people say it about me, all the time, but it's not something I would ever say about myself." he says, god this guy is an idiot. Gamora quickly grabs the orb that he is just carelessly tossing around, and kicks him in the gut she then runs. I get ready to follow her when I realize the idiot has grabbed something, he then throws at her, which binds her legs, making her trip. I take a moment to restabalize and observe what is going on around me. I then follow grabbing the guy in a force field after gamora kicks him. that doesn't last long when a flying rodent comes in and knocks me down. my field disappears.

"put him in the bag. put him in the bag!" the rodent yells, at an ent. Bounty hunters, great. they somehow get confused got gamora stuck in vines. my attention is drawn by the star lord guy who has taken off with the orb. I use the squirrels distraction to my advantage and get up and run after him, getting ready to put a shield around him. before I can gamora throws a knife and nocks the orb out of his hand. i speed up trying to get to it first, it then rolls into the middle of the plaza. i quickly jump over and use shield foot holds to run down, my sister is right behind me her sword fully extended.

she quickly grabs it, and we then start sprinting towards our ship. quill has other ideas, he drops down on us, he grapples with my sister, and then sends her flying. i see him gripping the power stone, and get ready to fight, when i see the tree behind him. i reach out to try and get the orb, but am too slow.

"quit smiling, you idiot. you're supposed to be a professional." the rodent says. now i was going to have to get him out of a bag as well. gamora has recovered though, she quickly walks past the rodent and walks up to the tree while i get behind him. she goes and fights the tree, who drops the human. run over to the bag and go to open it when i get electrocuted. the  rodent then shoots the man running, and before gamora can go and get him we get pulled into yellow fields. great.

Hello guys! i know, an update? what is this thing. Its been a while, but ive been dealing with online school( which is now thankfully over.) and other stuff, and yah. life has been busy but now were onto a third movie and i hope to start to develop more of a personallty for natt, because up till now ive just been writing her into the story without much thought. anyways, were 20:16 into the movie. hope you guys are staying safe and well
