Hello, everyone!
First of all, I'd just like to say that I am totally blown by the amount of love and you've given me and this story! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this is how things were gonna turn out. I'm truly honored and humbled by you. I never thought this story was gonna get the attention it's getting now but somehow it did and the realization that people like you have discovered me—the feeling is indescribable. Grateful is the word I'll use but only because I can't express my feelings for all of you in any way greater.
Thank you for the continuous support you've given to my story. I hope you all enjoyed my own version of Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff's story.
I would like to explain some things in the story that you may find questionable.
First things first, the story wasn't just completely centered on their relationship and I intended it to be that way. I never really thought that any of the characters in Marvel would get to have a story without anything getting in the way.
I also tried to indulge the tale of their "family" in this story because I really do think Natasha's heart is devoted to them completely. It's a part of her character.
People are also wondering how powerful my version of Natasha exactly is and all I can really say is that you'll have to check out the next installment I know I'll pursue. I don't wanna spoil anything. As for now, all you really got to know is that she is two infinity stones and can possibly be more. I think that speaks for itself.
And another issue may be Natasha's character. I can't portray Natasha Romanoff as the lady you all see because we may have different opinions of how she should be written but based on the movies, I think she has grown quite the soft heart. I'm not trying to show how weak she is in this story because I don't think that's a word you can use for her, but I'm trying to show how vulnerable she has become over the years with the people she considers her family. And vulnerable doesn't always mean bad.
Another thing would also be Peggy and Steve's relationship. Peggy has been a constant mention in my story but you don't really see a lot of her and that's because I don't really know her as a character. I didn't want to write so much about her only to destroy her character in the end. I've only seen her in the Captain America movies and in her short scenes in the rest of the Avengers films, and that's it. I don't really like her pairing with Steve as well for reasons I choose not to discuss but I tried my best to show respect to their pairing by not making her seem like a bad character or by destroying their relationship in a terrible way. I still haven't accepted to fact that Captain Rogers went back in time to spend the rest of his life with her but I decided to add this idea to my whole plot so as not to belittle the original storyline of the latest Avengers movie. It still is a great film with a great plot after all.
And yes, I do think that at some point Steve Rogers has become tired of being Captain America. He was accused of being a criminal because of his beliefs and he was deprived of the life he was meant to have because of the given title—it is because of the pain he's been given by this position that became another factor why going back and staying in 1970 wasn't such a bad idea for him. And one of the main issues I always thought he had with himself was his perspective of the clashing personalities of Captain and Steve thus his thinking of being two different men. I always thought that if he had only learned to accept that truth that he is now a man who belongs in the present and no longer the past, he wouldn't have did what he had to and simply accepted his fate. However, I decided not to change the end of Endgame because I respect the ideas and hardwork of the people behind the wonderful film.
Anyways, thank you once again! I hope I was able to open your minds to the various issues I decided to tackle in this story and I also hope I was able to save your hearts from the suffering Endgame brought upon all of us.
Don't be shy and tell me your favorite moment in this story! 😆😆😆
Hugs and Kisses!
