Episode 20: Confused

Amy's POV

I held her waist and pulled her onto me.

Reagan:"Wait, why all of sudden?"

Amy:"Uhm, well I, well after we kissed I knew I felt something"

Reagan:"Did you guys just break up like that?"

Amy:"Sort of, she wants to be friends again but I don't know yet"

She put her hand on my cheek.

Reagan:"If you guys really love each other you can be friends, just talk to her about it"

She kissed me softly and pulled back again.

Reagan:"Amy, you two are or were best friends and deep down you still are"

Amy:"I know but-"

I was cut off by Reagan's phone that went off. She picked up.

Reagan:"Hi"

Karma:"Reagan hi"

And surprisingly it was Karma.

Reagan:"Karma,  hi, how are you?"

Karma:"I am fine, well no I'm not but is Amy with you?"

Reagan:"Uhm yeah actually she is"

It was silent on the other side for a while.

Reagan:"Karma?"

Karma:"Sorry my mom, she came in but, don't hurt her please, she is hurt enough"

Reagan looked at me. I could hear Karma's voice all the time but she didn't know that.

Reagan:"I won't don't worry"

She grabbed my hand.

Karma:"Is she there, does she want to talk?"

Reagan:"I'll give her"

She handed me the phone.

Amy:"Karma"

Karma:"Amy, I am sorry"

Amy:"Are you still sure, do you really want this?"

Karma:"If you love something set it free, it's time to let you be happy Amy"

I could feel she was crying.

Amy:"I love you too Karma"

Karma:"We'll talk later, you go back to Reagan"

Amy:"Okay, bye"

I didn't notice I was crying. Reagan grabbed my hand.

Reagan:"That was really brave of you"

Amy:"You think so? I just feel like crap"

Reagan:"Go talk to her then"

Amy:"But I don't want to leave you"

Reagan:"I will be waiting for you to come home okay?"

She kissed my cheek and I left. I was on my way to Karma's house. I knocked on her door. She opened up.

Karma:"Amy? What are you doing here?"

Amy:"I don't, I don't uhm"

Karma:"Amy what's wrong?"

Amy:"Karma I don't want to lose you"

She grabbed my hands.

Karma:"You could never lose me"

She looked in my eyes. She came closer but I held back.

Karma:"I'm sorry, I have to get used to it"

Amy:"Uhm yeah me too, but-"

Karma:"Amy I am fine with this, you can go out with Reagan"

Amy:"That's the thing, I-I miss you Karma"

She looked up to me.

Karma:"Amy I thought you were in-"

Amy:"No, I was confused but, I am still confused because we spend the night and-"

Karma:"You what?"

Amy:"We spend the night, but what I was saying is that I still have feelings for you"

She kept silent.

Amy:"Karma say something"

Karma:"I don't know Amy"

Amy:"But don't you feel something?"

Karma:"I-I do"

I grabbed her hands but she pulled back.

Karma:"No don't"

Amy:"Why?"

Karma:"Cause you chose her"

Amy:"Karm-"

Karma:"No I am not here to be you number two Amy"

Amy:"You were never my number two"

Karma:"You had to think about that before you slept with her"

Amy:"Karma that was no-"

Karma:"No Amy! It was something! It was something that hurt me!"

Amy:"Karma please don't say that I never wanted to hu-"

Karma:"But you did"

I looked at her, no words leaving my lips.

Karma:"Go please"

Amy:"Karma no I am not lea-"

Karma:"Amy, leave"

Amy:"But I-"

Karma:"Leave, now"

She looked at me angrily.

Amy:"Can I at least explain?"

Karma:"No, go explain it to Reagan, cause I don't want to hear it"

I walked out the door but I stopped.

Amy:"You are still my everything"

She looked at me but the closed the door. With the sound of the shutting door my heart fell apart.
