Episode 46: Love me once more

Amy's POV

Amy:"I don't think she wants to talk to me"

Shane:"You won't know if you don't try"

I looked at him. While he pushed to the door I banged my fist on it.

Amy:"Karma, please I am sorry I didn't want to hurt you"

No response of course.

Amy:"I am stupid and I should have told you"

I waited.

Karma:"Don't stop when it's getting good"

Amy:"I want you to be happy Karma, and the death or your grandpa-"

She opened the door. Her eyes filled with tears. She hugged me.

Amy:"Are you okay?"

She shook her head. I held her tight.

Shane:"Karma this was my fault, Amy was going to tell you but I thought she already did, she wasn't going to keep this from you for a long time"

Karma looked at me.

Amy:"No, it's wrong what I did and I am sorry"

She hugged me again.

Karma:"When did he die?"

Amy:"I don't know honey, you're mom called about two hours ago"

Karma:"Why did he die?"

She cried through the sentence.

Amy:"I don't know Karm"

She held me tightly.

Karma:"I want to sleep"

She let go of me, jumped in bed and covered herself. I closed the door and sat back down.

Lauren:"Are you okay?"

Amy:"Not really, but I just hope she will be okay"

Lauren:"She'll be alright, this is what life is, people die"

Amy:"What's up with you?"

Lauren:"Nothing"

Amy:"Why are you so snappy, what's wrong?"

Lauren:"I just know how she must be feeling and it brings up bad memories"

Amy:"Oh, about what?"

Lauren:"When I was 7, my dad took my mom to the theater and my mom never came back, they were in a car accident and she died"

She was saying this in the coldest tone.

Amy:"Lauren?"

She zoned out. I shook her around.

Lauren:"I never said goodbye, I never said one last I love you"

There were tears in her eyes, even Shane teared up.

Amy:"But she knows you love her"

Lauren:"I know but that doesn't mean I shouldn't have said it"

I hugged her. Shane hugged the both of us. At that moment Karma came out of the room. I let go of the group hug and looked at her. She walked up to Lauren and hugged her. As she let go our eyes locked. Shane grabbed Lauren's hand.

Shane:"Come on, let's get you something to drink"

He dragged her to the kitchen.

Amy:"Karma?"
