Episode 30: Flying over

Karma's POV

I looked down until Lauren shook me around.

Lauren:"What did she say?"

Karma:"Amy has a - a - a heart condition"

Lauren:"What kind of heart condition?"

Karma:"They don't know they are running some tests"

Lauren:"Should I call Farrah?"

Karma:"I think we should"

Lauren stood up and walked away to go talk to Farrah. Liam came closer but still distant because of Shane's rage earlier.

Liam:"Are you okay?"

Karma:"I'm fine thanks"

Liam:"Look it was never my in-"

Karma:"It never is Liam, but it happened, and I don't want to talk about it"

Liam:"Look if you really love her-"

Karma:"I do, she is my everything, she is the only person who ever truly cared about me"

Liam:"That's not true, I care-"

Karma:"No you care about yourself, not me"

He put his hand on mine but I pulled mine away.

Karma:"Don't, don't do this"

Shane grabbed Liam's shoulder.

Shane:"Go get some coffee"

Liam stood up and walked away. Shane looked at me.

Karma:"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Shane:"Cause I am proud you stood up for you and Amy"

Karma:"I love her okay, and I never meant to play with her feelings"

Shane:"I understand that now"

He hugged me.

Someone came up to us, it was a brunette girl.

Dana:"Hi uhm do you know Amy?"

Karma:"Uhm yeah, wait you're Dana, what are you doing here?"

Dana:"I had an appointment, why are you here, where is Amy?"

Karma:"Amy is-"

I didn't say anything.

Dana:"Is she okay?"

Shane:"She's in a coma"

Dana:"What! I-I saw her like 3 hours ago"

Karma:"Yeah I know"

Dana:"You must be Karma, look I am sorry I never meant to-"

Karma:"It's fine"

Dana:"She really loves you, I could tell"

I looked up.

Karma:"I don't think she really wants to be with me anymore"

Dana:"I think she does, she is just really afraid I guess"

Karma:"Of what?"

Dana:"Falling in love, like really falling for someone and when they leave you are left in a big hole of emptyness"

Karma:"You've been there?"

Dana:"Yeah, it's really difficult to get out of it once you are in it"

Karma:"I messed up, a lot and I don't know how to make it up to her"

Dana:"Love her, that's all she wants, your love"

She sat down next to me.

Dana:"You seem like a sweet girl, she'll love you if you love her, just show her how much she means to you"

I nodded. She wanted to stand up but her leg hurt.

Dana:"Aah!"

Karma:"Are you okay?"

Dana:"My leg, it hurts"

Karma:"I can bring you to your car if you want to?"

Dana:"That would be really nice of you"

I picked her up and carried her to her car. I put her down but I fell onto her when I lost my balance. We looked at each other. She leaned in but I pulled back.

Karma:"I can't I am sorry"

Dana:"I am sorry, I shouldn't have done that"

Karma:"I'll see you"

She closed the door and left. I stood outside for a while, just letting the snow fall on my face when my phone rang.

Karma:"Hi"

Reagan:"I heard what you did"

Karma:"Hi Reagan, I made a mistake, it's non of your business"

Reagan:"I am flying over, how could you do that to Amy"

Karma:"I love her more than you!"

Reagan:"I never cheated on her"

I kept quite.

Reagan:"You even did it three times"

Karma:"Shut up!"

Reagan:"I am coming Karma, either you like it or you don't"
