Episode 43: Try harder

Reagan's POV

I walked after Dana, she was sitting in her room, looking at a picture. She looked up to me, tears in her eyes.

Dana:"I took her to Central park that day"

I sat down  next to her, I looked at the picture, Dana held a small blond girl in her arms.

Reagan:"Is this Megan?"

She nodded. A tear fell on the photo. I looked at her, tears were rolling down her cheeks. I hugged her tightly.

Reagan:"Look I am really sorry, I never thought she would say that"

Dana:"It's not your fault"

Reagan:"But I'm still sorry"

Dana:"It's okay, I should be able to talk about her by now"

Reagan:"I can't even imagine how it felt"

Dana:"Kind of like the gay version of the Fault in Our Stars"

She tried to smile.

Reagan:"Look, I don't know her and I never have but I know she wants you to be happy"

Dana:"I know, but sometimes I can't be happy"

She cried on my shoulder.

Reagan:"It's gonna get better, I promise"

I started crying as well. I pet her head. I saw Amy in the doorstep.

Amy:"Dana?"

Dana looked up.

Amy:"I am sorry, I never meant to hurt you, I just want to protect Reagan, I didn't treat her right and I don't want her to get hurt again"

I looked up at Amy.

Dana:"It's okay, and I won't lie to her, trust me"

Amy:"I will"

She looked at me.

Amy:"I am sorry Reagan, you know I care about you, I just want the best for you"

She was crying, her voice broken.

Amy:"I don't want someone to hurt you again, you don't deserve that"

Tears were running down my cheek as well. I stood up and hugged her.

Amy:"I'm so sorry"

Reagan:"It's okay Amy"

I let go of her and for the first time in a while I didn't have the urge to kiss her. I turned around.

Reagan:"Are you coming with us?"

She looked at the photo and then at me again.

Dana:"Yeah"

I grabbed her hand as we walked downstairs. I didn't see Karma.

Reagan:"Where is Karma?"

Amy:"She went home I guess, she was also mad at me"

Reagan:"I am not mad anymore, okay"

A little smile appeared on her face. We started walking to my aunt's house. We were talking about Uncle Jim's and how Dana was planning on renovating it. We arrived at the house, Lauren, Shane and Karma were sitting on the couch, we saw them through the window. Shane flew to the door.

Shane:"Heya"

Dana:"Hi"

Shane:"I'm Shane, you must be Dana?"

She nodded.

Shane:"Good pick Beckons"

He winked at me, Dana chuckled. We walked inside. Karma grabbed Amy's arm and took her to another room, they were probably gonna talk. Lauren walked up to us.

Lauren:"Hey, I am Lauren"

Dana:"You are Amy's sis right?"

Lauren:"Ew no, we're not really related, she is my stepsister"

Reagan:"You like Amy don't deny that"

Lauren:"Uhm no I don't,  okay a little"

She smiled vaguely at me. We sat down.

Shane:"So tell me about how you met"

Dana:"I came to apologise to Amy and Karma but Reagan opened up, and it felt right from the second I looked in her eyes"

She grabbed my hand.

Shane:"This is so cute, I have to Gram this"

He took out his phone and took a picture of the four of us, with the caption: Cutest couple evah.

Shane:"Grammed it"

He smiled at me.

Lauren:"You were the girl in the hospital right?"

Dana nodded.

Lauren:"You looked familiar"

Dana:"I remembered you, tiny blond girl"

I had to laugh and so did Lauren.

Lauren:"That's me"

Reagan:"Isn't it tiny blond bitch?"

I smirked at her.

Lauren:"Ha, really funny"

Reagan:"I'll get you guys something to drink"

I stood up and walked to the kitchen, I overheard Amy and Karma.

Amy:"I just wanted to protect her"

Karma:"No, it felt like you were jealous of Dana"

Amy:"Don't be ridiculous, I'm not in love with Reagan"

Karma:"Really? You seemed quite heartbroken when you saw them kiss"

Amy:"No, that's not true"

Karma:"Then stop acting like a jealous ex"

Amy:"I'm not acting like a jealous, I am acting like a good friend"

Karma:"Maybe you should try harder on being a good girlfriend"

Karma walk don't of the room and grabbed her coat and walked outside. I walked in the room.

Reagan:"Amy?"

Amy:"I'm coming, just changing my clothes"

Reagan:"I'm heard you guys"

Amy:"Ow, you heard all that?"

I nodded.

Amy:"Look I'm not in love with you and I am not gonna wreck your relationship"

Reagan:"I know, don't worry, but go get your fiance back"

Amy:"You're right, I have to get her back"

She stood up and ran after Karma. I went back to the kitchen, I hope they are gonna be fine.
