song: tonight - mötley crüe

~

"HEY MAN, LET GO!" once brooke had met with the chilly night air, she was withering under the tight hold on her. hands slapping hard at their back, legs attempted to kick into a chest but their grip was too strong. she was far from the party now, being carried down to the end of tina's driveway.

"relax." the voice grumbled, her body about grew stiff. wrapped arms moved from her legs to her tiny waist to set her down on the gravel gently. gripping onto leather clad biceps for support, she looked up at the boy who matched the voice.

billy still held the girl in his arms and winced slightly once he caught sight of her face under the streetlight. her nose bleed had traveled down to her lips and stained her white teeth. her right cheek had a couple fresh gashes while brown hair was tangled all about.

"you alright?" she was still in shock, shaking from the adrenaline rushing through her body. all she could do was nod. billy unwrapped his arms from her waist and instead put his hands on her shoulders.

"come on, we're leaving." he ushered her to his car while she stumbled, the liquor definitely still present. "billy i'm not getting in there, you can't take me home." she tried to stand her ground as the passenger door opened up, but he already threw her onto the seat. not too much later he plopped down beside her and grabbed his keys out of his back pocket.

"don't worry about that right now." he huffed, turning on the engine and peeling out onto the road. she pouted in defeat, head resting against the window as she watched the trees pass in a blur. "where are we going?" he light up a cigarette, taking a puff before offering it to her.

"far from here." was all he replied with, turning up the radio just a notch. she took a quick puff, her body overwhelmingly felt much worn out. she handed it back to him but he shook his head as if to say, 'you need it more than me.' they were far from the town now. not too much longer the camaro stopped in a bundle of woods. she picked her head up to look around and recognized it as the quarry.

he motioned for her to get out, stepping back out into the cold air as she made her way to sit on the hood. billy was rummaging through his trunk before he found a small quilted blanket, along with an old tee shirt and some water. he came around the front of the car to join her, holding out the blanket for her to take.

"this doesn't have any disgusting bodily fluids on it, does it hargrove?" she grimaced and he just threw it on her lap. "of course not." she hesitantly wrapped it around her shoulders, the heavy quilt capturing her in a comforting warmth that could send her into a sleep right there.
