It's finally Saturday. With the office and work trip, I'm literally exhausted. So this weekend is indeed a blessing for me. And since the trip, I was waiting eagerly for this. The main agenda of our usual weekend program is cleaning. Since my dear friends are no more than some sleeping bags, my main duty is pushing them around to make them do the work. And thankfully, I always succeed in that! While the boys clean their apartment, we girls clean ours.

"Let me help you to set the table!" Anjali took the food items onto the table. It's breakfast time. We will get into our work once we finished with breakfast... As we arranged everything, the remaining two also joined.

"Hey, did you notice? I saw the movers down there in our building..." Anjali asked us. I haven't got a chance to go out today. And hence I haven't seen it yet. "Yeah...And guess which apartment!" It was Ajay this time. "Which one?" I asked casually. Since when did these guys become interested in gossips! I wondered.
"That locked apartment in our floor!" Just like that, Sanky solved the mystery...
"What! Are you serious?" Now I understood why are they this curious because I'm also curious now! There are only three apartments on our floor. Two of them are in our hands. The third one in the picture here is locked up for a long time, even before we moved in. And that's how our curiosity is justified...

"Why can't you dust it properly Ajay!" My usual complaints started as they didn't done it properly. "Because I'm not you!" He playfully threw the cloth into my face. Before I could say something, he shoved me out of the door. Boom! He closed the door in my face! Anger and frustration boiled up in me and the next thing I know is me pounding up his door. "What the hell, Ajay! Open the door!" He really pissed me off into a level where I completely forgot about the surroundings. Maybe that's why I didn't notice someone watching me intently, maybe my strange actions! But I don't care. How dare he to pull such a prank? And even if he did that, why isn't he facing me now! I started to rub my temples. It really intrigued me. I know it was just fun, but the way it happened all of a sudden, I just lost it. Taking deep breaths, I turned to go to my apartment. Sanky and Anjali are in there. Maybe they might help me to cool myself.

"Ms. Jaiswal?" I stopped in my tracks upon a familiar voice. No, it can't be... How is it possible! But then,

"Mr Dhawan? What are you doing here?" For a second I felt like he is stalking me! What the hell, Sam! Get a grip on yourself!
"This whole week have been full of surprises!" He said shaking his head. "Don't tell me!" I joined him with the head shaking. "By the way, you haven't told me why you are here." I reminded him shortly after.
"I just moved in!" He pointed towards the only other apartment on our floor. "And I believe you live here!" That was a question more than a statement. I nodded my head in a yes and pointed towards my apartment. Just then Sanky's head is out there with an annoyed expression...
"What is taking you so long, Sam?" Then his eyes landed upon the man stood near me. Like that annoying expression changed into shock, just like me! But he recovered soon and came forward with his hands stretched for a handshake. "It's good to see you here sir!" He added. The boss took his hands graciously and give it form shake. Sanky's eyes darted into mine with questions.
"Mr. Nigam, what are you doing here?" Boss is even more surprised now! Then his expression changed like something strike him! "Wait! You are also living here?" Sanky nodded his head with a smile, a yes.
"Welcome our new neighbour!" I told Sanky with a smile. Even though he was surprised to learn the news, he did a warm welcome!
"Do you need any help, sir? With the whole luggage? We are very happy to do that!" Sanky surprised me by offering help. I actually was about to offer our help, because I thought he won't. But I'm happy he did that.
"I won't say no to help. But I don't want to trouble you guys." He seemed happy with the offer.
"Let's get to work then..." I announced before we start...

"Let's take a break, it's lunchtime!" Hearing Sanky's voice, I looked up from the box I was unpacking. Then I glanced at my phone. Yeah, it's lunchtime. And we could really take a break. It's been hours since we have been working.
"Come on, let's feed ourselves a little!" I said as I stood up. "Aren't you coming, sir?" I asked my new boss turned neighbour.
"No. No. I will cook something myself. You guys carry on!" Before I could oppose, Sanky jumped in.
"No way sir! Today is your first day and hence you are our guest! And also you have plenty of unpacking left to be able to cook something!" He said as a matter of fact. He was right. We still haven't unpacked any kitchen related things, which we should have done firstly! But it doesn't matter now since we already started. We will get to it eventually.
"Fine, fine. Can't argue with you on that!" And yes, he agreed.

As we made our way to my apartment, he asked our most faced question!

"So, how long have you two been together?"

We looked at each other. We can't help it but we bursted out into laughter!!!
