I can't believe I told Kabir about our arrangement. Ved didn't want anyone to know about this. But if I kept it from Kabir, he would confront Ved and then a huge mess was going to follow that. So I did what I had to do. And it was the right thing to do, so I'm glad that I did. When I learned that Ved likes Anjaly, I was shocked. But then it registered to me how big of an idiot he is. If he likes her, he could have asked her out. There wasn't any need for this fake couple drama. But when Kabir explained it to me that he has been always like this, I wasn't angry anymore. It's not his fault. What he needs is a strong push. And being a good friend, that's all I can do. But how am I supposed to do this alone! If I tell Sanskar and Ajay about this, I'm sure they will help. But in between all the wedding things, how am I going to say this! And that too while avoiding Anjaly. So it's better to share these with them after we return to Mumbai. And while we are still here, it's better to continue the on-going drama. So the only ray of help here now is Kabir! Ever since we came back from that talk, Kabir kept me busy with him. It was his way of carrying out the mission. He even tried to setup Sanskar and Ajay with some of the single girls here, so that Ved and Anjaly could be left alone. That's the only way to break the ice. They have to be left alone. Otherwise, Ved can find excuses as many as possible to run away again. The plan wasn't as successful as we planned. But I get it. We are not gonna get the perfect result in the first try itself. We have to keep trying. And that's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to keep trying, and not gonna give up until I see the dead-end for sure!

Unlike the drama going on in my life, this place looks heavenly. The spirit of the wedding is always so mesmerising. That's why I love weddings... They are so beautiful and so lively... Ved came early enough to check up on me. And when he came, Anjaly was there. After yesterday's findings, I made sure to observe his behaviour around her. There was a little bit of weirdness and awkwardness, which now I realise has been always there. It's just that I never noticed it before. But now when I finally did, I can see how much he likes her. Since both of them are single, it deserves a chance. And I believe they will be perfect for each other. So I guess, it's time for me to play the matchmaker!

"I guess yesterday wasn't much effective..." I recognized that voice as soon as it came from behind. Kabir stood beside me as everyone watched the bride walking into the mandap. I nodded as my eyes too joined everyone else's. But unlike them, my eyes were on the groom. I know everyone likes to see the happy bride in her beautiful version. But what we miss in that view is the happiness in the groom's face. The happiness to see his love in the most beautiful version ever. And his expression while he sees the dream-come-true moment of his bride... It is a beautiful sight! "Don't worry, we can still keep trying..." And with that, he left to join his cousins.

"All of a sudden, why is he hovering over you always?" As soon as Kabir left my side, Sanskar took the place for his interrogation. I gave him my are-you-serious look. But I guess that wasn't enough, because his next question was unexpected! "What is it that you two have been hiding?" As much as I know my best friend, he won't rest until he gets the answer! Taking a deep breath, I turned to face him. "It's a secret! I will tell you once we reach home... " I pleaded to him with my puppy eyes. I know he can never resist it! And so does, he nodded his head in agreement... We enjoyed the rest of the ceremony. Even in between all these wonderful scenes in front of us, I managed to catch Ved stealing glances of Anjaly! Even though it still feels weird to imagine them together, it makes me super happy too. So I grinned happily at the stolen glances. Little did I realised that my best friend too caught some stolen glances. The only difference is, those stolen glances were of me!

A knock came from my door as I was finishing my packing. The wedding is over, so does my part. Hence it's time for us to leave. Leaving the packing unfinished, I went to open the door. There he is, smiling like a fool... While shrugging, I returned to my still unfinished packing.

"Thanks for inviting me in, and good morning to you too..." He said as he followed me into the room. The sarcasm was dripping over him.

"What are you doing here, Kabir?" I asked the obvious. My clothes are spread over the bed, waiting for me to pack them up. While waiting for him to say anything, I returned to my packing.

"I'm sorry! I thought we have a mission!" He said as he plopped up on my bed. "And if I remember correctly, the word you said to the mission was YES!"

Shrugging off his words, I arranged my dresses in my suitcase. "Correction, we HAD a mission!" As he raised his eyebrows, I continued... "It didn't go as we planned... And now we are leaving..."

It was evident from his expression that this wasn't the response he expected. "So you are giving up?" Kabir asked crossing his hands. When I looked at him, I realised he wants me to say No... He doesn't want me to give up.

"I'm not giving up... I will need to talk to my friends so that I can convince them. Because I need allies since we won't be working together onwards!" I closed my suitcase as I packed the last one of my dresses.

"Well, then good luck with that!" And with those words, Kabir left the room closing the doors behind him.

"Goodbye, Kabir!" I whispered since no one was there to hear me say that. A few hours after Kabir left my room with that pending goodbye, we left for home... Leaving the beautiful Udaipur behind...
