A/N sorry it's been a while, it's been end of term craziness and my computer broke down so I haven't been able to write at all. But here you go! Comment, vote and all that jazz. Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Anna wondered into physics to see Joe already at his seat.

"How come you're here early?" She asked while getting her homework out of her bag.

"We got let out of English early because we had a supply." He replied. His eyes suddenly widened at the sight of her homework. "Dammit! I forgot about the homework! What was it again?"

Anna almost laughed. "It was to research nuclear fusion. Here, I made you a copy. I knew you'd forget."

"Oh you're a life saver." He said, grabbing it from her hands. "You even made it simpler and look like my handwriting! How'd you do that?"

"I have a lot of free time on my hands thats all. And I've seen you copy enough of my work to know how you write things."

The Doctor then sprung into the room while pulling on his glasses addressing the class.
"Right then class, I need you to get your homework out, chop chop!" He went round each member of the class checking if they had done their homework. When he came to Anna he saw the drawings she ahd done of the Tarantula Nebula and said "Nice example, beautiful isnt it?" He smiled at her with a wink. "Oh and Joe, it is Joe isn't it? Please refrain from using Anna as a homework supplier. I'll let you off this time but in future, or past, whichever comes first, do your own work." Joe just sighed, oblivious to the nonsense he had just made.

"Yes sir." He turned to her and made a face saying 'How'd he know?' Anna just shrugged.

The lesson went on as normal until Chris piped up from the back of class.
"Sir, how long are you staying for?"
The thought had never occurred to Anna. She always thought that the Doctor would stay as her supply teacher. She had completely forgotten about Mr. Mason.

"Oh, only until the end of this week I should think." He replied. "Dear old Mazzo should hopefully be with us again next Monday."

End of this week! Anna suddenly panicked. She wanted to explore the universe, not sit out her GCSEs! She made a mental note to talk to the Doctor after the lesson. Maybe she could persuade him to stay? Or maybe take her on more adventures before he left.

"Anna, could you get some more textbooks out of the cupboard please?" The Doctor asked her.
Her heart raced at the thought of seeing the TARDIS again, but did he move it? No, he couldn't have. It was there last week.
She opened the door to see that the blue police box was still there. She checked behind her to see if the others in the class could see it but they didn't seem to notice. She turned back to get the textbooks only to see a note on the door. It read, 'use your key, get inside now!'

What? Anna glanced back into the classroom to see that all was normal. The Doctor had his back to her while writing on the board. She looked over to Joe, maybe he could come with her? If there was danger, she didn't want joe getting caught up in it. He was her friend after all.

She grabbed the textbooks and quickly put them on the desk at the front. She then said, "I'll just go get the rest of them Mr. Smith." While passing Joe and signalling for him to come with her.

"What?" He mouthed. Anna just sighed and lied to him.

"I need some help carrying the rest of the books, come with me!" Joe seemed to agree as he stood and came with her. She dashed into the cupboard while taking out her key from around her neck. It slid into the lock perfectly and she pushed the door open.

"What the hell?" She heard Joe say before she grabbed him, pulled him into the TARDIS and shut the door. "Anna what are you-" he stopped talking as he took in the sight before him. His mouth gaping wide.

"No time to explain I just saw this note and I thought that there might be trouble so I grabbed you." She said very quickly. She looked at him for a response but only got his gaping face. "Look," she said. "Don't think I'm crazy, please. But Mr. Smith is an alien and he's really called the Doctor and this is his bigger on the inside time machine it's called the TARDIS which stands for time and relative something in space and I've been to the planet Jurka in the 58th century and saved this alien called Saleem and I didn't really hurt my hands falling over it was from the Vashta Nerada but I'm okay really I'm sorry I lied." Anna took a big breath. She'd said it all so fast that didn't know if she had got anything through to him. He just stared at her for a while before he finally spoke.

"Mr. Smith's.... An alien?"

"Yes!"

"Called the Do-"

"The Doctor, yes!"

"Doctor who?"
Anna went to answer but then stopped. Doctor who? She didn't know. He was just, the Doctor.
"Well?" Joe asked. He looked at her expectantly.

"I... Don't know." She said. She walked over to the jump seat and sat down.

"Bigger on the inside huh? No kidding." He almost laughed as he looked around him. "How are we still in the store cupboard?"

"You see, Joseph, that's a very good question!" Anna's head snapped up at the sound of the Doctor's voice. A smile broke out on her face.

"Don't call me Joseph sir." Joe said while staring at him.

"Only if you agree to not call me sir, call me the Doctor."

"Doctor who?" He repeated the question to him as he had to Anna only minutes before.

"That's not important but what is important is that we make sure you're safe." He shrugged off the question once more. He started running around the console flicking switches and pulling levers. The wonderful sound of the TARDIS filled the console room.

"Wh-what's happening!?" Joe shouted above the noise.

"Just hold on to something!" Anna replied while gripping one of the railings herself.

"Allons-y!"
