The whole place shook like there was an earthquake taking place and there was this noise. Like someone was wheezing or scraping violins strings with a set of keys. Anna was thrown to the ground and she just curled up in a ball until the shaking stopped quite suddenly. She looked up to see the Doctor holding out a hand. She took it and helped herself up.

"Now then, Annabell Taylor." He said. "Do you want to see the stars?"

Anna just looked at him with a confused expression on her face. Was he still going on about that?

He indicated his hand towards the door.

"But there's nothing out there, it's just the classroom."

"Why don't you look for yourself?"

Anna started walking towards the door. When she got there she looked back to see the Doctor just grinning with his arms folded across his chest. She didn't see the point, but she did it anyway, only because it would put her mind at rest.

She opened the door, looked out and gaped. She was looking at what looked like a nebula, stars glistening, colours fading and moulding into each other, reaching out into space. It was.... Beautiful.

"30 Doradus, also known as the Tarantula Nebula because it looks like spiders' legs sticking out. It's 650 light years across and the centre is heated to millions of degrees by stellar winds and super nova explosions. We are 160,000 light years from the earth, you're a long way from home." The Doctor relayed this information as if he were explaining how to make toast. Easy.

Anna was breath-taken. She just stared at the beautiful sight before her. Suddenly she came to her senses and posed a question.

"How are we breathing?

"Oh! The TARDIS extended the air field for us. We're save as houses." He said, stroking the side of the box.

"TARDIS?"

"Oh sorry you haven't been introduced yet have you? This is my spaceship. It's called the TARDIS which stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space." He looked out at the nebula then back at her. "Any questions?"

"You have a spaceship that's bigger on the inside than the outside?"

"Yep."

"Why does it look like a police box?"

"It's a cloaking device, it disguises it according to where I land however I once landed in the 1960's and the chameleon circuit got stuck. Been like this ever since."

"You landed in the 1960's? Is this a time machine?"

"Oh yes!" He said with a grin.

Anna looked back at the nebula and asked the question that had been bugging her for a while.

"Are you an alien?"

"Yes" he said clearly. When Anna didn't respond he asked "Got a problem with that?"

"No!" She let out a breath. She was standing in a time machine, suspended in space, looking out at a nebula. She was 160,000 light years away from home. She must be the luckiest girl on earth. Or off earth in fact.

Suddenly the Doctor shut the door and rushed back towards the console in the centre of the room.

"What are you doing?" She said, walking towards him.

He just grinned at her and started pushing buttons and dancing around the console. "The question, Anna, is where and when are we going!"

The TARDIS shook again and Anna grabbed onto one of the railings to spare her a few bruises. She smiled to herself. This was fun.

"Allons-y!" The doctor yelled, grinning his face off.

A/N I hope you liked it! Hey, you should google images of 30 Doradus it's amazing! See, I did my research. :D hopefully the story can really get going now that Anna has relaxed into the TARDIS. I have a few ideas running through my mind about planets and times to visit but I feel that they will run out soon so if you have any suggestions on where you would like the Doctor and Anna to go then please let me know!

Cheers.
