ships: obvi nothing romantic during regression but locietality in a cglre sfw relationship.

warnings: SPOILERS FOR Putting Others First, Little Janus being put in timeout/Logan scolding him, adorable fluff.

I've barely written little deceit and when I did his age range was babyspace, but I wanted to try older kiddo! dee being a cute little boy.

summary: Janus has been regressed the whole day, playing video games and having fun with his Papa and Daddy (Patton and Logan in that order). He gets snappy with his carers for no reason, giving attitude and throwing a fit. There goes his video game privileges....maybe.

--

"Papa! I died," Janus huffed, getting frustrated with this game. The video game music played in the background, while Patton moved to kiss the scale-covered cheek of his. He wore a pastel yellow shirt, and black overalls. His hair wasn't styled, and he left his hat off. He was very, very adorable.

"It's alright, you could always play something else, Little Snake," Patton, one of his caregivers, told him.

"What should I play?" he asked, tilting his head.

Patton gave a shrug, "Whatever you'd like, kiddo!" he cheerfully said. Janus huffed in annoyance, going to the home screen of the console.

"Now dee, there's no reason to get an attitude with me-"

"I wasn't!" Deceit quickly defended himself, cutting him off. He realized what he did, going quiet and focusing on the screen.

Logan entered at the time, sitting at the arm chair next to the couch on the other side of Janus. "Apologize to Papa," he instructed.

"Why?" Deceit questioned, "I didn't do anything." he used his usual sass to try and get out of the situation.

"Janus," Logan gave him a warning look, speaking in the tone of voice that usually meant he'd be in trouble if he didn't listen to him.

Deceit pretended not to care. He didn't look at Logan, but me mimicked his scolding tone as he spoke. "Daddy."

"Janus Deceit Sanders, get rid of the attitude-" Patton tried to scold him, only to be cut off. Janus didn't really take Patton's scolding to seriously. Now Logan? When it reached a certain point, the little boy will whimper and apologize for anything.

"What attitude? I don't have one," Deceit continued to only pay partial attention to them, clicking through the games he had to choose between.

"Hand over the controller," Logan held his hand out, and Deceit looked at him, raising an eyebrow. He handed it over, quick to summon the other one (for when they play games together) from the other side of the couch. Deceit could create absolute chaos in the mindscape with his powers if he wanted.

"First off, careful with the powers while regressed. Second, that's not what I wanted you to do and you know it," Logan set the controller he was given on the table.

"You didn't specify," Deceit started to power on the second hand-held gaming remote, connecting it to the system. He stuck out his tongue to Logan.

"Stop being sassy and avoiding instruction," Logan spoke, much more sternly. Janus seemed to falter at this, before flicking his eyes back to the tv and ignoring the statement with a shrug. Patton seemed shocked by this.

"Look at me or we're putting you in timeout," Patton said, but Deceit didn't take the saying seriously. Sass and refusal to listen to his carers tied directly with his trait of rebellion and not believing in authority while big.
