there are so many things I need to tell you.
I don't think they'll all fit in this letter, so I'll start with I love you.
I love you y/n hood. I'll never get used to you having my last name.
I told myself that writing these letters would help, help me put my mind at ease and just be with you, be more connected to you again. cuz y/n I don't ever want to lose you, or us.

I also got you a birthday present, you'll probably think it's lame but it's a cd especially made for you, a mixtape or something like that. it's called songs I wrote for you. so we'd never forgot our story. I don't really know what else to say except I love you and I'll never forget you. the title probably gave it away but these are all the songs I ever wrote for and about you, I hope you love them all.
I let laura listen to it first, she seemed to love it, although she probably doesn't understand a thing yet. I tried to teach her how to play happy birthday on the piano to surprise you. it didn't turn out that great though, so I'm sorry you won't be able to hear her play it just yet.
