A Christmas kiss (Olicity AU fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Felicity was rushing thru the streets of Starling City to arrive at the Staling City's national theater in time. This year they were presenting the Nutcracker smile. She loved that story it was the perfect capture of the Christmas time and love that was always around us.

The poster was already made and standing at the entry to the theater and Felicity smiled at that and sighed of it before she walked in. She was going to wait for Sarah inside.

On the stage the dancers were rehashing the moves from the ballet. She loved the dilates that were put in to this theatre and that was one of the things that attracted her to the work of a designee. She sighed and was about to go behind the stage when she almost crashed in to the nutcracker as she was not paying attention

"Good afternoon Felicity." Felicity smiled at the voice of Joan Diggle

"Hi John." She said looking finally away from her phone that has become her life in the past few years

"So are you working with the designee crew this year?" he questioned as Felicity shook her head

"Not this year I'm just too busy." She told him as Digg smiled at her and said

"That is a shame." She smiled at him at the comment knowing what he was going to say now "Your set designees are the best ones I have see in all the years I've been sweeping floors." That made Felicity smile and she asked

"Thank you that is really sweet of you. How is Sarah doing still yelling and crying?" Felicity always asked about his daughter in the years she had knowing Diggle she was excited when he told her he was having a girl she flipped with excitement

"Well she is driving her mother and I crazy if you can imagine that." Digg said with a laugh as Felicity smiled at him and just then Sarah rushed to her and said with a big grin on her face saying

"I got the job!" Felicity smiled at her and give her a big hug to along with it happy that her friend has been given the amazing opportunity

"Congratulations!" Felicity said as she let go of Sarah who had a smile from ear to ear

"Thanks. I'm your queen of makeup and wardrobe." Sarah said in a singing voice as Felicity laughed as she looked at her phone again

"I'm going to text Caitlin." Felicity says and starts tapping on her phone as Digg smiles and tells Sarah

"I'm glad at least one of you is doing the show this year." At that Sarah smiles at him "You know Felicity here says she is too busy." Digg tells Sarah who looks over at her friend and says to Digg

"Can you imagine? What if Shakespeare had said he was too busy to write Hamlet?" Sarah points out as Felicity looks form her phone to both of them

"Oh please." Felicity starts as Sarah raises her eyebrows at Felicity "I'm about to be promoted by a...." she was cut off by Sarah who said

"...and insanely demanding control freak." She finishes looking over at Digg who is trying not to laugh at the statement

"No! By the most talented, successful, gifted and connected interior designer in Starling." At her words Sarah rolls her eyes as Digg looks at her when she mouths 'Control freak.'

"Well congrats Sarah." Digg tells her as she smiles at him and he walks away from them

"Thanks." Sarah yelled after him and she turned Felicity around "And you don't you miss being a part of this world?" Sarah asked her as she sighed

"Of course but..." she stopped and looked at Sarah "Let's not worry about that right now let's worry about you." She said as Sarah sighed at that rolling her eyes when Felicity's phone biped and she received a text form Caitlin "Oh look Caitlin says that we have to go out and celebrate." Sarah smiled at the idea
