A Christmas kiss (Olicity AU fanfiction)

Chapter 7

After Oliver left Thea in her apartment that she shared with her long termed boyfriend Roy he wondered the city for a while until he made his way to the theater. He was now sitting in the front of the stage looking at the engagement ring in his hand when somebody showed up onstage.

It was Jon Diggle that had walked in with a box of tools and as he trued to look at the seats in front of the stage expecting it to be empty he was surprised to find Oliver sitting there and smiling at him

“Mr. Queen?” Diggle asked as Oliver smiled at him

“Hi Diggle.” He said with a smile as Diggle made his way to Oliver “And you do know you can call me Oliver…” he started as Diggle cut him off

“Mr. was your father I know that.” Diggle said with a smile “So what bring you back here?” Diggle asked as Oliver sighed

“Well I just felt like I was missing out on the fun.” Oliver said with his slay smile as Diggle sat in front of him

“Well it’s good to have you back in Starling.” Diggle said as Oliver nodded

“Thanks Diggle. I got a little sick of airports.” Oliver added as Diggle crossed his arms over his chest and said

“I was never much for flying going a few times a year to Central is all me and the Mrs. need.” He says as Oliver nods and looks at Diggle

“Tell me something Diggle; how did you know she was the one?” Oliver asked as Diggle smiled

“Well, our weary first kiss sealed the deal.” Digg said and Oliver could tell those were happy memories “She made my heart flutter. And for ten years her kisses still make my heart flutter.” Diggle told Oliver as he looked down to the blue ring box in his hand “I see that you are getting ready to take the plunge.” Diggle pointed out as Oliver smiled

“I’m thinking about it.” Oliver said and that surprised Diggle

“Well you already bought the rock you must be pretty sure.” He pointed out to Oliver who looked form the ring to Diggle

“Well in all honesty when I bought the ring I was weary sure…Now that I’m back in Starling I just…I’m not so much.” Oliver said as Diggle nodded

“You are confusing knots with flutters.” He said as Oliver looked at him confused

“I’m not sure I follow.”

“Well knots mean that your are all tied up on the inside witch mean’s you should stop and think about things. But if you get flutters that means that she is most definitely the one.” Diggle said as Oliver sighed at that

“What happens if you feel both knots and flutter? And some of the recent knots could weary well be caused gilt over a spontaneous kiss in the elevator which caused the flirty flutters.” Olive asked Diggle who didn’t know what to say to that

“I’d say good luck to you Oliver.” At that Oliver laughed

“Thanks a lot Diggle.” Oliver said as Diggle got up and walked away leaving Oliver alone with his knots and flutters and his thoughts about what is the right thing

In the morning Felicity was late for work because she stayed up all night to finish her designs and she was sure that she was going to get a warning from Pricilla. And to be sure as Pricilla let her in she said

“You are fore minutes late.” And Felicity followed her in to the living room she said

“I believe everything will be forgiven when you see my designs.” Felicity told her all happy
