A Christmas kiss (Olicity AU fanfiction)

Chapter 14

Oliver and Felicity spent the whole afternoon decorating the Christmas future tree and as night rolled down they were almost done

“This ornaments are so precious. Look at this.” Felicity said showing Oliver one of the ornaments she had in hand

“Yeah I mean having the kid’s make it was just a…it was a great idea.” Oliver said looking at the tree in front of him “All right now that we are done decorating the trees I do have a little surprise for you.” He says as he ducks down to look for something as Felicity looks at him with serious face

“It’s not Figgie pudding right?” Felicity asked as Oliver laughed and stood up

“No I throw that away.” He said as Felicity smiled and nodded “In honor to your Christmas tradition with your father I have Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, It’s a wonderful life, Christmas carol and Muppet’s Christmas carol.” Oliver said as Felicity looked at him in shock “The last one is in honor of my grandmother.” He said as he handed Felicity the movies

“Thank you. That…that’s a lot of hours of viewing.” Felicity said with a small laugh

“Yeah we should get started.” Oliver said as he walked in to the living room

“Are you sure you are game to watch all of this?” Felicity questioned

“Oh, absolutely.” Oliver said with all the confidence in the world

“Even the Muppets?” Felicity asked as he nodded his head and she smiled

“I haven’t seen any of them.” Oliver said as Felicity looked at him like he told her he was an alien

“None of them? But they are Christmas classics.” She said as Oliver shook his head “Not even ‘It’s a wonderful life’?” she questioned him as Oliver shook his head “Are you kidding me? I cry every time Clarence get’s his wings. I had a deprived childhood.” Felicity told him as she passed him the moves

“Sad but true.” Oliver told her as Felicity give him a gentile smile and Oliver asked her “Chinese takeout?” and she nodded

“Chinese sounds great.”

They spent the whole night watching Christmas movies and eating Chinese takeout and laughing. As the hours passed the both took a blanket and covered their legs while watching. Slowly Felicity was drifting off to sleep and her head fell on Oliver’s shoulder and as he felt her fall asleep he covered her with a blanket leaving her to sleep on him as he fell asleep himself

In the morning when Pricilla walked throe the door of Oliver’s house Felicity and him were still asleep on his couch

“Oliver!” Pricilla called as she sat her coat and bag on the hanger when she noticed Felicity’s coat was there as well and at that call Felicity and Oliver were waking up “Hello.” Pricilla called as she walked in to the living room and found Oliver and Felicity in a embrace on a couch wrapped in a blanket and Oliver was the first one to get up

“Pricilla…welcome back.” He said as he walked up to her “I missed you.” At that Pricilla glared at him

“Apparently.” Felicity got up quickly and said to her

“The shipment of ornaments arrived and we wanted to make sure everything was decorated before you returned.” Pricilla glared at her with a look that Felicity felt if that glare could kill she would be dead “I’ll be leaving now.” Felicity said as she hurried to pick up her coat and purse in the hallway

“Please do.” Pricilla said as she followed Felicity with a her eyes

“Thank you Felicity for all your help.” Oliver said as Felicity just nodded and exited the house as quickly as possible “I’m happy you are back.” Oliver said as he was about to kiss Pricilla she pushed him

“You smell like cheep takeout.” She told him as Oliver sighed

“Pricilla don’t be upset. Nothing happened.” At that she smiled at him and said

“The thought never crossed my mind.” She told him “She is my assistant.” At that Oliver looked at his watch

“I’m gonna go take a shower.” Oliver said as he ran up the stairs

After he left his phone started to ring and Pricilla answered it and the man on the other end told her that Mr. Queen asked to speak to him about the exchange policy for the ring that he bought. Panic ran throe Pricilla as she told the man that Oliver will call him back. She ran up the stairs to Oliver’s room looking for the ring in his drawers but couldn’t find it. It wasn’t in his coat and then it hit her, the night stand. She opened the drawer and found the blue ring box in it opening it she took it with her and wend downstairs to wait for Oliver.

“Darling, you look…refreshed.” She said with a smile like nothing was happening as Oliver went down the stairs and went to pick up his phone and coat. He checked the phone and put it in his pocket facing Pricilla once again “I thought about us the entire time I was gone.” Pricilla said as Oliver walked over to her with his coat in hand and said

“I’ve been thinking a great deal about us as well and there is something I need to talk to you about.” Oliver said his face serious as it has never been “So I have a little time before my board meeting if you want to…” Oliver started when Pricilla stopped him and said

“No. No you go on ahead. I need to clean up this mess. There is just so much to do before the party.” At that Oliver nodded

“We’ll talk about it after I come back.” He told her as she smiled and with that Oliver was out the door. He really needed to talk to Tommy today.
