A Christmas kiss (Olicity AU fanfiction)

Chapter 5

Felicity got up early in the morning picking up the coffee and the pastries and making her way to Oliver’s house. She knew that Pricilla was not going to be there before her so she took a deep berth as she rang his doorbell

“Good morning Felicity.” Oliver told her as he opened the door and let her in as she smiled at him

“Good morning Oliver.” She told him as he showed her inside the house

“Well Pricilla is not here yet but do feel free to come in.” Oliver said as Felicity looked around the house it was definitely the most amazing place in the world it could not compare to her apartment. Techniclly her apartment could fit in to his living room form what she could see

“Your home is amazing.” Felicity said with a smile still looking around as Oliver chuckled

“Thank you.” At that Felicity realized that she had to give him the coffee

“Oh this are the pastries and coffee by miss Hall’s instructions.” Felicity said handing the basket over to him as they walked over to the living room and he set up the basket on the table as Felicity looked around the room taking her coat off and setting it on a hanger with her bag on the sofa

“Nice touch.” Oliver said as he took the nutcracker soldier in his hand and she smiled at him

“I thought it would like it. My roommate it working on the nutcracker for the ballet.” She said as she put on her glasses and took a pen and a block in her hands

“Yes you already told me. It’s really thoughtful.” Oliver said as he drank his coffee and after a sip he looked at the cup in his hand and asked “That is delicious. Where did you get that from?”

“The whole basket is from Bean time rosters. My other roommate Caitlin the actress she works there.” Felicity told him as she turned around to look at the room and asked “May I?” and at that Oliver nodded and she walked over the room. There were a few chairs in there and books in showcases with a piano in the middle of the room that give it that antique look.

Felicity walked over to the showcases and looked over the books inside it and said

“You have Shakespeare’s whole collection.” Oliver smiled that she noticed that most people would just pass by it

“I do. And they are well loved and read.” He said as something in the showcases caught Felicity’s eye

“Is that what I think it is?” she asked in shock as Oliver opened the showcases taking out the Christmas carol

“Christmas carol the first edition.” He said showing it to her as Felicity smiled looking at the book in his hand as he give to her to look at

“Wow. Christmas Carol is the first show I saw my dad took me when I was a sophomore at high school.” She explained to Oliver who smiled at her

“My grandmother give me that book. It’s …it’s my most prized position.” Oliver said looking at the book

“It’s beautiful.” Felicity said as she looked at the book in her hand when Oliver heard footsteps and soon the sound of Pricilla Hall’s voice was echoing in the halls. She arrived soon as Felicity was putting the Christmas carol back in it’s place.

“Thank you for the basket.” Oliver told Pricilla as the woman smiled at him Felicity tried to control herself

“You are welcome. So regarding the decoration designs do you have any ideas or thoughts?” Pricilla asked Oliver who sighed

“No I don’t at the top of my head but you know what Christmas means to me.” He said to her as she nodded her head and Oliver looked over at Felicity “I haven’t been home for a couple of years it’s just that I…I want to make it memorable.” He said as Pricilla put her hand on his shoulder and said

“And spectacular.” She added

“Well with you those two come in as a couple.” Oliver said with a laugh “I just want to see if you can bring back the magic of Christmas in to this House.”

“Oh I’ll bring it back.” Pricilla told him as she looked over at Felicity “Felicity take pictures of the first floor and get measurements take copious notes of furniture and accessories. You know the drill.” Pricilla said as Felicity nodded her head heeding to the work “Darling let’s have a pastry shell we?” Pricilla said calling Oliver over to the table where the coffee and the basket wear set on “Now in addition to the sponsors and donors.” Pricilla started as she sat down and Oliver sat down next to her she noticed the nutcracker on the table and moved it from her way “There are a few important people I would like to add the list.” Pricilla said as Oliver watched Felicity who was taking the measurements in the other room

“Can we keep in mind that the priority is sponsors and donors of the theatre.” He said as he took a sip of his coffee

“Of course but it’s Christmas and I think it’s the best opportunity to take advantage of our first holiday in Starling together.” Pricilla pointed out as Oliver looked over at Felicity

“Felicity would you care to join us?” he asked her as Felicity looked up form what she was doing and shook her head

“No I’m still busy I’m not done yet.” She told him about to go back to work

“She isn’t done yet.” Pricilla whispered to him as he smiled and said

“I think there is plenty of time to take photos and measurements later.” At that Felicity smiled at him “Felicity I insist.” He told her as she walked over to Pricilla who was holding the basket and said

“Croissant?” she asked as Felicity took one thanking her and walking away to take the rest of the measurements and the pictures as Oliver glanced once again over at her
