Finn was sat at her usual table, the largest in the hall with a bunch of people who were talking about things she didn't care about. There was only person Finn could class as a friend, Keiko, a pretty asian girl with long black hair and an interesting vibe about her. Keiko, who was also bored with the lack of conversation floating around the table, rolled her eyes so hard they looked like they could fall out of her head. Finn giggled a little, enough for Keiko to notice but not the rest of the group. Finn could always count on Keiko to make her laugh, even for a second. She thought nobody but Keiko had seen her snippet of emotion, but he did. Ashton did.

Ashton was leaving the cafeteria and as he passed the table where Finn sat with her popular preppy friends, which he found quite odd considering when he looked her over, black vans, a Greenday shirt and black skinny jeans, similar to his own, completely different from Courtney, the group leader as it were, white sandals, a floral dress and blonde hair. Polar opposite from Finn. He shook his head and laughed inwardly, looking up at Finn once more he saw a smile, then a laugh. It may have been little but it showed him that she wasn't as much of an asshole as she wanted people to think, well, he hoped she wasn't.

Keiko shuffled over to Finn and whispered in her ear.

"Bandana boy was looking at you." Finn whipped her head to face Keiko, blushing slightly although she didn't exactly know why.

"Irwin? Why would he be looking over here?" Keiko shrugged and sipped on her Sprite.

"Not sure, but him and his little friends are so weird." She laughed. "When you went over there they looked like you were an alien." Finn shrugged, even though it annoyed her slightly. She was pretty sure that the guys were just surprised to see her at their table, associating with them, not because she was an alien.

"I need to go to English real quick, I'll see you in Maths." Keiko saluted Finn as she left the table, again going unnoticed by the rest of the group. Finn didn't even have to go to English, she wanted to know if she would be stuck next to Ashton for the rest of the year. She entered the class to find Ashton, Calum, Michael and Luke talking to Mrs Dray.

"Ashton, could you please leave that alone." She said as he threw a pencil at Calum who let out a deep yelp.

Finn cleared her throat as she stood against the door.

"Yes, Finn?" Mrs Dray asked swatting Luke away from her.

"You again." Michael uttered, Finn rolled her eyes and walked over to the desk Ashton was sitting on.

"I was just wondering if I'd be sitting next to him for the rest of the year." Ashton let out a laugh but she earned glares from the other boys.

"Well, Ashton got more work done today than he did the whole of last year so yes, I think it might be a permanant change." Both Finn and Ashton let out a groan and looked at each other. Finn studied the face of Ashton for a moment as he did the same to her. She turned her head away but still felt Ashton looking at her.

"It might cheer you up a bit, Finn. Ashton think's he's quite the comedian." Finn laughed dryly and looked back at Ashton, who hadn't stopped staring at her.

"He's quite the creep too." She muttered quietly enough for nobody but him to hear. He smirked and took his eyes off of her.

"I reckon I can get Finn out of this whole angry thing she's got going on." Ashton grinned widely at Mrs Dray who just rolled her eyes, as did Finn before she left the room.

"Man, did you feel that?" Calum said to Michael as he laughed.

"How could you not feel it? It basically drowned me, I mean, that was intense." Luke added.

"What?" Ashton walked over to the boys who couldn't control their laughter.

"The sexual tension in this room was unbearable, didn't you feel it Ash?" Calum laughed again as Ashton glared at him.

"I think she wants your-"

"Michael!" The boys quickly turned towards Mrs Dray who had just interrupted Michael. The boys apologised and swiftly left the room, grabbing the permission slips as they left.

"She totally wants to fuck you." Michael smirked.

"I doubt that." Ashton said cooly, completely unscathed by the turn of the conversation. He doubted very much that Finn wanted anything more than silence from Ashton.

"When she tries to take your shirt off, remember I called it first." Michael winked and led the boys to their next class.
