Joohyun was progressing well with her training to be one of KBS's announcers.

She was being mentored by both her superior, Choi Seora, and a retired announcer, Park Sangmi who worked behind the scenes of KBS studios.

"Okay Joohyun-ah, remember your posture is very important. Sit up straight and look directly into the camera, and no smiling unless you're supposed to." Sangmi instructed Joohyun who was doing a mock test during her lunch break.

"Okay I got it. Straight posture, direct eye contact with the camera, no smiling unless need be." She did everything as instructed and read the words that Sangmi wrote down on a piece of paper.

Sangmi watched intently at Joohyun's posture, the way she engaged with what's in front of her, and most importantly how she pronounced the words.

"Hmm, something's missing. I can't put my finger on it though..." Sangmi tapped her forefinger on her lips when she got a moment of realization. "Ah maja! You're too stiff and a bit quiet." She walked over to Joohyun. "Come on stand up let's loosen your tensed body."

Joohyun and Sangmi were shaking their limbs as well as doing vocal exercises to heighten Joohyun's voice volume. Seora walked in and saw the pair practicing. She laughed heartily before placing her hands on her hips.

"Yah, Seora-ssi this is not easy work. How about you come and practice being a newsreader." Sangmi beckoned a laughing Seora. Joohyun watched as her sunbaes were mocking each other until Seora accepted Sangmi's request.

"Geurae, I'll show you that I have potential. Joohyun-ah don't worry if you don't get it right the first few times, that's what trial runs are for." She winked at Joohyun before sitting behind the news station.

Joohyun watched as her sunbae read the words from the paper and noticed how relaxed she looked. She too admired Seora who smiled a few times, like the role of being a newsreader came naturally to her.

"Omo Seora-nim... You looked so natural, I swear you could be an announcer yourself." Joohyun said once Seora got out of character.

Seora smiled and put a hand on Joohyun's shoulder. "Thanks Joohyun-ah, but I was just being myself I guess. Something Sangmi never taught you." She raised an eyebrow at Sangmi who rolled her eyes instead.

"Let's continue before Seora corrupts your head jaebaall..." Sangmi motioned to Joohyun and they continued further before Joohyun's lunch break ended.

"Omona, the girls are here." Joohyun saw Wendy, Joy and Yeri watching a movie on the television as she returned home from work.

"Hellooo unnie we arrived early." Yeri got up and tightly hugged Joohyun.

"Tsk clingy girl get offff..." She giggled. "Where's Seulgi-yah?"

"She went to the convenience store to get snacks. Come and watch the movie with usss." Joy pouted her lips. Wendy got up and offered to make Joohyun a cup of hot chocolate, to which she happily accepted.

"I'll join you girls now, let's wait for Seulgi first." Joohyun walked into her room and placed her bag down on her bed, reading the text messages she received from Taehyung.

Taetaebaby: Bogoshipoyooo

Taetaebaby: Where r u?

Taetaebaby: I'll be alone in the apartment tonight, come over later <smirk face>

Taetaebaby: Bae Joohyuun?? Answer mee...

Joohyun laughed at his texts and hugged her phone, suddenly thinking of being in his presence.
