Tox awoke the next morning with a slow start. She took a deep breath as she felt herself scoot closer to the source of warmth beside her, eyes still closed. This source of warmth was a... person!?

Sitting upright, she forced her eyes open as she saw Gerard beside her still asleep. The girl stared down at him with furrowed eyebrows. They're still on the roof? That's incredibly dangerous, they must've fallen asleep while up here.

Gerard's nose twitched as a piece of hair fell atop it. Tox lightly laughed as she pushed it away from his face. "Gerard" she whispered, "Gee?" still nothing. She sighed as she went to tap his shoulder but stopped when she heard clamor down in the diner. It sounded like the boys were yelling.

Finding the entrance to the roof, Tox climbed down it and into the diner. She stood in the threshold and watched the boys - who had their backs turned to her - argue.

"He was here last night!" Frank ran his hands through his locks.

"Yeah but Tox's bike wasn't." Ray replied as he pointed out of the window to the girl's ride. Do they think he's missing? Tox decided to stay back and amuse herself.

Mikey shifted uncomfortably, "And he wasn't in his room?"

"We checked like five times. Maybe they two of them ran away together?" Frank suggested.

"Ha!" Ray laughed, "Tox run away with Gee? Have you met her?"

"Hey, you haven't talked to her like I have. She isn't as cold-hearted as she seems."

Tox rolled her eyes, "You take that back." The three jumped at the sound of her voice and drew their blasters. Tox chuckled, growing more and more amused, "Shoot me, I dare ya."

"Holy shit you're not wearing your bandana." Frank gaped, "Wait where's Gerard?" Frank asked, blaster still pointed at her. His eyes seemed hurt.

"God you guys are dramatic. He's on the roof." She pointed to the ladder leading up there. The boys' expressions all contorted into confusion. "I was having a rough night, so Gee had me come over to star gaze."

Ray's jaw dropped, "Did you just call him Gee?"

Tox mentally cursed herself for letting it slip, "Shut the hell up, Goldilocks."

"Did you two fall asleep up there?" Questioned Mikey, relieved that his brother was alright.

"Unintentionally, yes. He's still asleep." She replied.

Just then, a sleepy redhead climbed down the ladder with sleep still coating his face. "Not anymore." He corrected with a morning voice. The raspiness in his voice made Tox's knees feel slightly wobbly.

"Morning sleepyhead." Tox chuckled, "You were giving your little ducklings quite the scare here."

"What do you mean?" He asked, standing by her side. He had an urge to wrap his arms around the girl, already missing her embrace. Gerard fought it though, knowing it wouldn't be appropriate.

"They didn't know where you went, or how my bike got here." She answered as she let her body fall against the threshold to lean on it.

"Oh." Gerard continued walking into the kitchen to pour himself a cup of coffee. Sleeping on the roof wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world so he needed something to take his mind off his aching back. He grabbed two mugs, one for him and one for Tox.

He poured them both and let his feet carry him back over to the purple haired girl. Handing her a warm cup of joe, she gave him a small smile in exchange. The smile spread onto Gerard's face as he remembered their deep conversation from last night. She spilled everything to him, at least everything that bothered her the most.
