Hiya, guys. So, I'm going to New Zealand from early to late January, so there will be no updates for a while. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, all that stuff. ;)

(Rose’s POV)

I poked my head around the corner, scanning the console room. Nobody there. I looked behind me and gestured for Clara to follow me with my blue plastic gun. She crept up and we edged our way to the console. I remembered the conversation we had with the eleventh Doctor previously.

‘Now, it’s ten points if you hit someone in the head.’ He’d said as he handed out Nerf guns, keeping the best for himself. ‘Five for the chest and two for arms legs, feet and hands. You don’t need to keep track of your points; the TARDIS will do that for you. And no cheating.’

‘How do you cheat in a Nerf gun war?’ Clara had asked.

‘I dunno, knowing you, you’ll find a way. We’ll split into pairs.’

Jack and the man named Rory were together. The two Doctors paired up. Martha went with Amy and Donna with River. Which left Clara and I. ‘Ready to kick some timelord butt?’ She’d asked. I clicked my gun. ‘Always.’

I looked over my shoulder, but Clara had my back. We made a pretty good team. I motioned for her to duck down behind the console with me. She did, and only just in time. Suddenly, the air was full of the sound of bullet fire and little pieces of blue and orange plastic flew past us.

“Who is it?” I yelled.

“Jack and Rory!”

I smiled. “Then lets get ‘em!”

We stood up and fired back. I stuck close to the console, using it as a shield. Clara pointed behind me. “Rose, look out!” I turned and saw a flash of ginger hair and a glimpse of dark skin, which retreated under the console. Amy and Martha. I nodded at Clara and went over to where they were hiding while my teammate sorted out the boys.

The bullet fire continued around me, and I felt a few hit me, earning some yells of delight from Jack and Rory. I held my gun aloft and clicked it, ready to pull the trigger. I made my way down the steps and saw Amy and Martha deep in discussion. They hadn’t seen me yet. Good. Creeping behind them, I aimed my Nerf gun at Amy’s head. I almost didn’t breath, trying to be as quiet as possible. I took a step forwards, but too late I saw the loose metal on the floor and tripped. Even with the racket going on above me, I still made a lot of noise. The girls looked around at me.

“Oh,” I said. “Hi!”

Then I opened fire.

They looked a bit shocked at first, but recovered quickly. It was two-on-one, and my gun was tiny.

“Clara!” I yelled. “A little help here please!”

Clara screamed back at me. “I’m a little busy at the moment!”

“Clara!”

“Fine then!” She appeared next to me a few moments later. I hit Martha in the chest with a plastic bullet. “Ow!” she protested. Clara missed Amy by a hair and Martha hit me in the head. Suddenly, I had an idea.

“Wait!” I screamed. To their credit, they stopped.

“We should team up.” I said. “Find Donna and River and form an alliance against the boys. We’ll work well together.”

Amy cocked her head to one side. Clara waited with me. Martha turned to her partner. They seemed to have some sort of silent discussion with their eyes. After a minute, they looked at us.

“Let’s go find the girls,” said Amy.

Roughly ten minutes later, six female companions were waiting crouched behind some boxes in the console room. River had assured us that the plan was fool-proof. We would wait for one of the teams of boys to come along, then pretend that the alliance didn’t exist. When all four males were there, we would team up and make them surrender. Well, that was the theory. Whether it would work in reality was another thing all together.

I swept my blonde hair behind my shoulders and looked around. The other girls were all looking around, waiting. And we didn’t have to wait long. Soon, the Doctors had stumbled around the corner, their guns held up like they would prefer using them as clubs. Amy looked at River and nodded. Slowly, Donna and River stood up. When the Doctors saw them, they clicked their guns, but the girls put their hands up in a surrender. Sticking to the plan, they yelled, “Don’t shoot! The others, they’re behind there!” They pointed to where the four of us were hiding.

They boys frowned, then walked over to us. I saw River point her gun at my Doctor’s back, and Donna reload. When the timelords reached us, Amy, Martha, Clara, River, Donna and I opened fire.

It was a bit chaotic for a while, and all the noise attracted the attention of Jack and Rory. They spun around, not sure who to fire at. Then, they noticed that all the girls had teamed up and they did the sensible thing; they surrendered. The Doctor’s weren’t so smart, (no surprises there) and they continued on until River grabbed the eleventh Doctor in a headlock and I pressed my gun to the tenth Doctor’s head. He looked at me.

“Love you too,” he said sarcastically. I blushed.
