I set off, first knocking on my neighbours' doors to see if they were in. I got lucky on the second door I knocked on. The nameplate on the door read: Lomadia. I knocked lightly. The door opened and a blonde haired girl's head popped out. "Hello... Um..Who are you?" she asked, her voice sounding very confused. "I'm Freya...I'm new." I said, my voice squeaky. "Oh! Yeah, Lewis mentioned you! You're the girl who almost got kidnapped, right?" she asked. I looked down, nodding ever so slightly. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I can't imagine how hard that must've been for you!" she said sympathetically. I didn't say much. "Oh, I'm Hannah. The plate says Lomadia but I go by Hannah." she introduced. I smiled. "I'm just going around meeting people." I explained. She beamed at me. "Then I guess its a good thing that the girls and I are having a girl's night!" she said happily. I smiled. Girl's night. Brilliant. "Awesome! Is there alcohol?" I asked. Hannah shrugged, a chill look on her face. "I could be persuaded." she said smugly. I grinned. "Consider me in." I said confidently. "Great." she said. She turned her head into the room. "Hey guys, Freya wants to join in!" she called. I heard cheering from inside the room. Hannah swung open the door and let me in. There were several girls sitting around. The walls were a pinky purple and the ceiling was a comforting blue that matched the comforter. There were several girls sitting about. "Not all of the girls are here but we'll be glad to entertain you!" Hannah said. I waved shyly at the girls. They grinned and waved back. "Okay. This is Kim. She hogs all of the noodles, cooks on wednesdays, and...uh... Actually, Kim, what else do you do?" Hannah asked one of the girls. She had short, jet black hair and purple stuff was crawling up her arms. "I'm Duncan's lab assistant." she answered. One of the other girls, the red haired one, looked up, barely holding in laughter. "You mean, you're Duncan's mother?" she joked. Kim stiffened, and the purple on her arms seemed to swirl a bit. "Zoey. Careful with the 'm word'." Hannah warned. Kim shuddered. "Anywho, the red haired one over there is Zoey. She likes mushrooms, is a vegetarian, and deals with most of the plants in the greenhouse." Hannah said pointing at the girl with fiery red hair. She grinned and winked at me. "She also likes to play pranks so watch out." Hannah whispered in my ear. I nodded. There were two other girls left. One had long raven coloured hair and was reclining on a mini sofa with a glass of alcohol. The other girl looked kind of like Hannah, but she was shorter and had bigger eyes. "That's Kaeyi, she's Martyn's girlfriend, likes cats, and works in abilities training." Hannah explained gesturing to the girl on the mini sofa. "And finally, may I introduce you to Minty, our alcohol provider. She likes photography, owns the Farm's only bar, and fancies Sjin." Hannah said pointing to the blonde who was taking up half of the bed. "Hi, I'm Freya." I said. "We know." Kaeyi said perkily. "We came and watched you sleep." Zoey said. The others looked at her. "You look peaceful when you sleep." Zoey added quickly. I laughed. Hannah shoved me onto the mini sofa next to Kaeyi, who handed me a glass. She sloshed some gin and tonic into the glass and refilled her own glass. I gulped the mixture down and everyone cheered.
Hannah put a movie on and we watched movies, chatted, laughed, did our nails out of complete boredom, and then chatted some more. "Hey Freya, one of the upsides to being a werewolf is that no matter how hard you try, you can't get drunk for longer than half an hour!" Hannah announced pushing Minty off of the bed. I cheered. "Unfortunately for shapeshifters like Minty and me, that is simply not the case!" Kaeyi giggled. "Well, you have to sober up for dinner, because knowing you, you're going to embarrass yourself." Hannah said seriously. "You mean she's done it before?" I snickered. Kaeyi stood, well, tried to, at least. "I REGRET NOTHING!" she shouted, nearly falling over when she tried to sit back down. We laughed. A bell rang throughout the complex and Hannah took Kaeyi's glass away. "No more for you!" she said sternly, hiding the bottles of gin in a cupboard. "That's not faiiiir!" Kaeyi whined. I shook my head, laughing. "We have half an hour until dinner. Kaeyi, Minty, get it together." Kim said, gulping down the last of the gin and tonic that was in her glass. Zoey was fixing her hair and cleaning up some of the mess. "Guys, isn't tonight 11 night?" she asked. I cocked my head. "What's 11 night?" I asked. Minty grinned. "Fun."
