Chapter fourteen

"I GOT ONE TIM! I GOT ONE!" Dad reeled in the rod, the smile he puts on everytime a fish gets caught. 

"Take it in Rob! Hurry!" He pulled the rold one last time and a large salmon fish came whizzing through the air - landing on the huge bucket provided by Roy. 

"Nice catch Mr Thorne," Roy laughed, handling the fish with his large hands. I looked over at Luna who was watching him with glimmering eyes, mesmerized by his soul and personality.

"What's that I see in your eyes?" I smirked, Luna sighed heavily and I caught Roy looking at her, winking.

"It's only been three weeks, and... I don't know what he's doing to me." She bit her bottom lip, Roy was approaching us.

"You like him, don't you?" I asked, Luna turned to look at me and smiled.

"Hey ladies, mind if I steal the cute brunette?" Roy approached Luna from her back. Smirking, I motioned her to go with him and she stood up.

"I'll be right back," Roy waved a hand and shook his head quickly. Warm heat spreaded across my cheek as soon as I felt William's lips pressed against my neck.

"Hey beautiful," He murmured, traveling down my shoulders. His hot breath sent chills down my spine. I closed my eyes and allowed his heat to fill through me - burning through my core.

"William.." He finally stopped and I find myself resting on his lap.

"Hey, how's everything going?" He asked, stroking my hair.

"Better I guess." My eyes flew open and I took a glimpse of my dad, how happy he looked. He was now in a wheelchair, but he was adjusting himself in this new life of his. The doctors rarely came and he was able to take care of himself. That made me worry less, and since he's got a friend with him to look after him as well.

"I'm glad he's happy though." I smiled as I buried my face on William's faded jeans.

"Hey, if you want... We can move here, school isn't a problem for both of us, I mean we've only got a few weeks until the semester ends. And once it's done, I can get a job while you take care of your daddy.. If you'd like that?" William mumbled the last sentence, but all I could feel right now was gratitude. I twisted my head and looked at him from his lap.

"William... That's such a gesture... But no, you have your own life. I'm not letting you work your ass of just because i'm in need of medcation for my dad. I can do this. Don't worry about me." William brushed the back of his knuckles on my cheek and smiled a half smile.

"Well, it's your call. Say it and it's yours." He announced.

"What will I do without you?" I smiled. He bent down and kissed me passionately.

"Marry me.." He breathed, kissing my forehead.

"Hmm?" 

"Rose I can't help it, you drive my fucking crazy. You're my everything, and I can't bear to lose you. Marry me." He said. I slowly slid out of his lap and looked at him.

"William... I-I love you.. So much." I took his hand and brushed them gently.

"But it's too soon." William smiled. I nodded and a low throaty chuckle escaped my lips.

"Hey, I'll wait. Forever, if I need to." He looked at me sincerely.

"I love you too, Rose."
