WEEKS since their departure, y/n still isn't well. Often skipping meals, mainly her school lunch. Rarely studying causing her grades to plummet with poor test scores. Even failing to make a presentable appearance at school. Dark circles in her eyes from the sleepless nights she's had replaying the same heartbreaking scene.

Every single student could depict exactly what happened at school regarding that the couple distanced themselves away from each other. Catching the eyes of those who's been cheering on their relationship and those who've been wishing to replace either one of their positions.

Neither of their friends informed of their sudden split. Making them question their trust towards them. Their friends obviously were worried. Watching the once energetic selves turn for the worst. Haechan wasn't at his worst, but y/n was. As he didn't really think much of them splitting rather focused on the females that were attaching onto him like leeches.

Y/N was the complete opposite. Boys didn't line up to gain her attention, rather stepping aside and allowing her wounds to heal before coming forth. If there was any boys waiting for y/n. They've lost interest seeing as she doesn't really tend to care for herself like she once did before.

"Chin up y/n. You've been sighing and sulking since you've got to school." Y/N's friend Myunghee lifts her chin from her arms with a single finger.
"It's no use. I'm tired." Y/N replied with the upmost expressionless face.

Y/N yawns into her hands, stretching her arms out falling right back into the same position she was in. Folded arms on the table and her chin resting on her arms. Slowly y/n would drift off to sleep when Myunghee would fight to find words to say the the broken girl in front of her.

Figuring that she'd give her some food to open her up or wake her, but y/n refused. Letting the spoon of rice just poke at her chapped lips, staring blankly at Myunghee. Lunch was about to come to an end and all Myunghee wished was for y/n too at least eat a spoonful of food.

Growing tired of y/n's rebellious behavior, Myunghee lifted y/n's head and pulling her jaw down as her mouth was left agape. Myunghee shoves the rice into her mouth then shuts her jaw. Naturally y/n chews onto the rice sluggishly.

"You have to eat no matter how sad you are. And opening up to your dearest friend will help heal your wounds y/n. I really hope you trust me enough to tell me what happened..." Myunghee starts to explain.
"Just tell me whenever you're ready no matter what time of the day." She adds caressing y/n's back.
"I will." Y/N replied. Knowing she was only going to tell her friend what happened when she got the strength to even recall the moments without breaking down into tears.

Myunghee prayed that y/n would just tell her. She was sick and tired of seeing y/n hurt, wondering whether she wanted to snap Haechan's head off or to simply comfort y/n for going through this alone. Y/N was quite stubborn in Myunghee's eyes. Knowing that if she were to experience the same thing she'd run to y/n and tell her right away. It's what friends are for. And Myunghee wasn't really feeling like her friend at the very moment.

The bell rings signaling the students to get to their final class of the day. Students scrambled all over the cafeteria throwing away their plastic trays and milk into the trash. Heading to their lockers or just straight to their classrooms excited it was the last class and it was finally time to go home. Myunghee walks y/n to class to ensure that she doesn't collapse.

Y/N's teacher greeting the both of them as she struggled to open the door and hold y/n all at once. "Ah, she's still the same. Y/N, you have to get up eventually, a heartbreak doesn't last a lifetime." Her teacher scolded.

Myunghee left after bowing respectfully to y/n's teacher. While y/n dragged herself to her seat beside some people she's never come to talk to since the beginning of the year. Heaving a sigh as she placed her notebook onto the desk.

Her mind cluttered with such thoughts as if Haechan was okay. Having not seen him for weeks. Not even at school, wondering if he was still attending. Or if he was and just prevented her from seeing him.

When in fact that's what it was. He would see her and vanish out of sight before he was caught. He knew that she'd grow too attached if he continues to hang around her. Taking the easy route out. He hated to see her in this state knowing he's the reason behind it.

"The lessons over y/n." Her classmate informed tapping her shoulder. Shaking her out of her daydream and into reality. The classmate being, Lee Jeno.

Jeno who's been watching over her since the news broke out that her and Haechan broke up. Seeing the once lively, energetic and adorable girl transition to this. His own heart pangs at the sight of her being this way.

"Oh, thanks." Y/N thanked him forcing a smile on her face.

Jeno knew it was a fake smile. Yet, he felt glad that she had enough strength to even smile. The first emotion besides boredom and emptiness that he's been seeing the past weeks.
