I scroll through instagram and decide to check my DMs. I see I have a new DM from someone named Payton Moormeier. The name seems to be familiar but I can't put my finger on it. 

Payton:
Hey! 
Maddie:
Hi...?
Payton:

Maddie:
Um... not much...? 
Maddie:
I'm sorry... but do I know you?
Payton:

I smile, knowing Payton is the reason all of this happened. Payton is the reason I'm not depressed 24/7, Payton is the reason I have some of the bestest friends, and Payton is the reason I met Josh...

I smile, feeling this internal fire, sense of happiness after meeting Payton. I almost immediately get a text from Payton.

Maddie:

I sigh. Josh has seemed really distant lately... I don't know what's happening with us. I hope we're cool by the time I go to LA... I decide to text Noen because I haven't talked to him for 2 days.

Anyways, we haven't played MC in a while

Time skip, Two hours later:

I sigh. Noen has to go eat dinner or something. I'm bored again. I decide I should just text Josh again because why not.

Yea, sorry! Hi Mads!
Maddie:
Ahhh thank god! I'm sooo bored!
Joshyyy:
Yea, Bryce is driving me insane so I'm just going crazy lol
Maddie:
Big mood... anyways what's up?

Nothing much... just going places... doing stuff...

We ended up talking for 4 hours and then I fell asleep right away, with only Josh on my mind, not Nessa.
