Wrong Number - A Josh Richards Fanfic

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!

Maddie's POV: 

I hear an alarm go off and three in sync groans. I turn and see Avani, Addi, and Charli all rubbing their eyes/trying to go back to sleep. I sit up. 
7:30 am. 
Perfect. 
I stand up and start to get ready, not fully awake yet, but up. 
Today's Josh's birthday!
TODAY I GET TO SEE JOSH! 
It's 8 by the time I'm fully ready, I only threw on a hoodie and some leggings, brushed my hair, and put on mascara. That's it. I go over to where all the girls are still sleeping and first go to Addi. 

"Addi, wake up, I'm leaving today..." I say, shaking her. She slowly opens her eyes and focuses on me when she suddenly sits up and hugs me. 

"Mads, I'm gonna miss you so much! Why can't you just stay?" She says, arms wrapped around me. 

"Aw, I'll miss you too Addi! You should just come visit the Sway House!" I suggest, and she pulls back, a shadow crossing her face. 

"I can't." 

"Why?" I ask, confused. 

"Bryce... you'll probably see Avani there, but me and Charli tend to stay away most times." She says, and I sigh about this unsettled "beef". 

"Look, I understand, but y'all are probably gonna have to get fix the beef..." I state and Addi nods. 

"I will. Now you pack, I'll wake up the girls. As I start packing, the girls all start getting ready. By the time I'm done, they're all completely ready and making yet again another TikTok. 
Ooh! I know this dance!!
I run over and get in the frame for just the last part of the Party Girl dance. At the end we all. just hug. That's when we all hear Alex yelling into his camera for a new vlog. 

"Ok, lets go downstairs so I can say bye to everyone before I leave!" They all nod and I grab one bag and Addi grabs the other. As I head downstairs I see everyone already up and around. Tony comes over to me first, hugging me right away. Me and Tony are best friends now, he's promised to visit the Sway House. "I'm gonna miss you, Tony..." I say, somewhat sadly. 

"It'll be ok, we'll see each other again and text me anytime, ok?" He reassures me. I nod, hugging him tighter, then letting go. I turn and give Chase a somewhat awkward, shorter hug. We're kinda friends, but I don't want to hurt Charli, so I've been trying not to get close to him. 

"Bye Mads..." He says quietly. 

"Bye Chase." I say, slightly smiling. 

"Text me, ok?"

"Um... ok." I say, glancing back at Charli who is analyzing my every move. I turn away from Chase, say some things to Alex's vlog, hug Kouvr even though we're not that close, say a quick goodbye to everyone else and I am about to head out with Avani when Thomas grabs my arm, pulling me aside. 
OH HECK NAH-

"Mads, do you want to join the Hype House?" He says, quickly, and looks me in the eye. 

"Um... do I even qualify...?" I ask, unsure. 

"You're almost at 1 Million. That's more than some people here." I sigh. 

"Look, here's my number. I don't know right now but I'll text you when I make up my mind. Bye, Thomas!" I say, as kindly as possible. He sighs and doesn't follow me. 
Who put him up to this? 
I hug Addi and Charli one more time and then follow Avani out the door. Me and Avani are taking an Uber together to the Sway House so I can surprise Josh and so she can see Anthony. We talk a little in the car, I decide not to tell her about Thomas's offer yet, so the conversation is sort of limited. Finally, the Uber pulls up next to a huge house which I can only assume is the Sway House. I grab my suitcases and hop out the car, excited.
 I get to see Josh in less then 2 minutes. 
Oh my god, this is really happening. 
I smooth my shirt and Avani sort of nudges me to the door. I slowly walk up, Avani not to far behind. I take the brass knocker in my hand and knock, anxiety eating me away. 

"JOSH GET THE DOOR!" I hear Jaden yell. 

"UGHHH OKAY!" Josh yells back, clearly annoyed. The door swings open. Josh's eyes focus on me and his eyes widen. He just stares at me and I stare back. 

"...Happy birthday Josh!!" I say, attempting to break the silence.
