♡ Part 49: Christmas eve ♡

ONE WEEK LATER (December 24th)

TO SAKURA

sakura: you look so good tenten

tenten proudly stood before her best friends and showed them her outfit. they were currently getting ready for narutos christmas party and the girls came to sakuras house to get ready

ino: i can't wait for the ski trip

hinata: it's g-going to be fun

tenten: i can't wait

hinata: i f-forgot to tell you all. cousin n-neji will be at the party tonight

tentens eyes widened and looked at sakura who seemed a bit shocked to hear that

sakura: neji never goes to parties. but naruto is the host so maybe that's why he's coming

ino: tenten, if you don't want to see him, we can skip

sakura: she's right

tenten shook her head and smiled widely

tenten: it's fine guys. we'll have fun 

the girls continued to get ready but still had fun while doing so. since the beginning of their winter break, they had been seeing each other a lot. naruto was practically at sakuras house 24/7 although she didn't really mind it at all. sasuke had gotten a little busy with his brother but he always found time to see sakura as much as he could. at one point he came over at 1am just to see her.

TO SASUKE

sasuke: hn

he carried the box of snacks into narutos living room as shikamaru comfortably laid down on his couch

sasuke: why do i have to do the work

he annoyingly looked over to his best friend

shikamaru: this is too troublesome for me

sasuke glared at his best friend and continued to work. 

naruto: yes mom, don't worry

the dobe was trying to reinsure his mother and father that nothing bad will happen to their home although kushina had her doubts

kushina: now you listen, if one thing breaks, i'll smack you so hard into next wednesday that you won't even know that i smacked you

she released her crossed arms and minato happily took her hand

minato: have fun

he turned around and dragged kushina out of their home. 

kushina: you know minato, you should be a little more strict with our son. i can't be the only strict one y'know

they were headed to a hotel for the night because they told naruto that they had some personal 'business' to do although it was clear that they left for 2 reasons. naruto didn't think too much of it but he knew.... and it just disgusted him even more but he didn't want any hold backs and so he let them leave for the night. 

naruto: okay guys the party starts in 2 hours. shikamaru i need your help y'know

shikamaru groaned as he was being dragged out of the couch to help out and sasuke smiled to himself

TO SAKURA

it was finally time and they decided to take their leave. they were all so excited and couldn't wait to get there. ino drove them as they all happily talked

ino: you know sakura, you haven't cut your hair in awhile. why is that?

tenten: come to think of it, you've always had short hair but now you're growing it out... interesting
