♡ Part 84: Sasuke's resolve ♡

TO SASUKE

sasuke: let's go somewhere else

shikamaru sighed heavily

shikamaru: you said you wanted some amazake, so we're getting some amazake

the nara couldn't care less about the situation simply because even if he wasn't doing anything, this could be a chance where some heat could be released between sasuke and sakura. 

he made his way to them with a very lazy smile and propped himself right beside sakura

shikamaru: what a drag, i thought you went home?

sakura shook her head as hinata gave sakura her note back

sakura: i'll head home soon

before she could react, sasuke sat down right across from her which was beside ino. the blonde glared at the raven for a moment before forcing a smile to her lips and facing sakura. she leaned forward and propped her chin up in her hand to avoid sharing gazes with sasuke

ino: anyways, you should come here tomorrow sakura

sakura: ino

sakura narrowed her eyes to her best friend as she stuffed the pink note into her pocket

sakura: i won't

ino frowned

ino: why not? he's cute

'.......'

all sasuke could do was listen

sakura: ino, don't. 

shikamaru: stop being bothersome ino

hinata stared down to the table with a scrutinizing gaze

sakura: anyways, i'll get some amazake for you guys. 

shikamaru: it's fine, i can get it

before the pinkette could react, shikamaru stood to his feet and made his way to order himself and sasuke some amazake

silence. 

sakura sighed

sakura: i think i might just go home, i have to work on my poem

sakura subconsciously glanced over to sasuke to see that his onyx eyes were darted to the floor. her brows silently tied together as she took another few seconds to see if he would even spare her one glance. 

but he didn't. 

she grabbed her backpack and left without uttering another word to her friends and former boyfriend. 

sasuke finally looked up to watch her retreating figure.

ino: now you look at her?

he stared at her and disregarded ino's commentary

ino: y'know, if you want to talk to her you can. but the thing is, i don't think she wants to talk to you

hinata: ino, don't. 

ino: it's true. sakura hasn't even talked about her feelings after sasuke broke up with her and i just know that she doesn't talk about it because she just doesn't want anything to do with sasuke. 

the raven closed his eyes as his head still faced the side and away from the two girls

ino: you messed up sasuke. the fact that sakura won't even tell me what's going on goes to show that you messed her up

sasuke: and what did she do to me?

ino: take care of you with all her heart

sasuke: hmph
