All The Stars

When I hot back home I was still in my suit and button down shirt, and when I walked inside my dad was watching tv. "Where were you last night?" He said looking at my suit. "With a friend." I replied. "Wheres the outfit from?" He said laughing. "My friend is rich, and she got it for me. It's, a, uh long story." He laughed again and said "Theres some pasta in the fridge." "Thanks dad." I said. I changed into my usual fit and grabbed some pasta and sat outside on the porch eating, and Kiara eventually rolled up to get her bracelet. "Here you go madame." I said as I handed it to her. She smiled so brightly and gave me a big hug and said "Thank you so much John B." I heard another car rolling in and I looked over to see Sarah's Volvo. "Of course." I said as she let go of me and looked over to her car. Sarah got out and awkwardly looked at both of us. She proceeded to walk onto my patio and Kie said "What are you doing here?" "What are you doing here?" Sarah replied. "No seriously John B, why is the kook queen at your house?" "She is the uh, reason why your bracelet got fixed." I said. "What?" Kiara yelled at my face. "You know, you really need to move on." Sarah said to her. Kiara rolled her eyes and stormed off. "Goodbye John B." she said. Sarah sat down on my couch out on the patio, kicked up her feet and said "So, she's still salty at me." "Well you did kinda ditch her when you guys were best friends, and break her heart." I said. Sarah shrugged and said "Yes, I know I'm a bitch." My dad looked at us out the window and smiled at me and then he went into his room. "Who else is here?" she asked. "My dad." I replied. She gasped and said "Oh my, the parentals." "My dad is chill." I replied. "Speaking of fathers, I talked with mine and got you your job back." Sarah blurted out. "What? How?" I asked surprised. "Long story, Rafe spent $10,000 my dad gave him to buy something for the house on a new motorcycle and went on a drug trip and then I brought up how responsible you were when you worked here, and my dad bought it and said he'd rehire you. I  think he'll text you later today." "Wow Sarah, thats, uh, really nice of you." I said. She smiled and I gave her a hug. The next morning I reported to their house for work and Ward had me power washing the side of the house which was the hardest of all jobs of course. But money was money. As I was power washing the side where Sarah's bedroom was, she looked out the window and smiled at me. A few minutes later she came outside and looked around and then sprinted over to where I was. She pushed me up against the side of the house and said "Quick top secret undercover conversation." I smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "I broke up with Topper." She said, pushing her hair back. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah, I only want you. But we still gotta keep this whole thing a secret from my family, because they would never approve." She said smiling staring me in the eyes. "John B, what's going on?" Ward shouted from around the corner. Sarah giggled and started to run off and I scream whispered "Sarah wait, meet me at the Avalon Pier at 11 tonight." She pushed her hair back and stared at me and said "Maybe if you're lucky." We could hear Ward was getting closer and I said "Mhm hmm." As Ward came around the corner Sarah hid behind a tree and then walked behind him back into the house as I pretended to adjust the sprayer. "The sprayer was being weird sir, but I fixed it." I told him. He sighed and walked off. Ward did not seem like he really wanted to talk to me the whole time I was there but I didn't care. That evening when I left my house to go meet Sarah my dad asked where I was going and I said to meet hp with friends, but I knew he was starting to figure it out. When I got to the pier I leaned up against one of the poles and let the water rush up hitting my feet. I waited for ten minutes and then Sarah rolled up in her striped pajama shorts and a white lacy top. "Sorry, I had to sneak out of my house and it was this whole ordeal." She said carefully walking down in the sand. I laughed and she said "What's so funny?" "Are you afraid of the sand or what?" I asked. "No, It's just cold." She said crossing her arms. I took off the Billabong sweatshirt jacket I was wearing and put it on her. She smiled and said "Thanks John B." I kissed her and I said "I missed you."  She abruptly started making out with me, rubbing her hands on my back. She pulled away a minute later and said "Me too." We continued making out and after awhile I said "So are we just gonna make out?" She smiled and said "Sit down, tell me about your life John B." We sat on the sand, I put my arm around her and she leaned her head on my shoulder. "Well, my mom left when I was little, and my dad does various fishing jobs, and he's obsessed with gold. And well me, I just like to surf and hang with my friends. And now, this really cute girl." We looked up at all the stars and she said "I can vibe with that."
