Chapter 7

Jays POV

Poor Max! Hes been in bed all day now. Another guy heart broken. How long will this keep going? I wanna help him but he keeps pushing me away. I think hes embarrassed. Theres nothing to be embarrassed about. We all been there.

"Max, want some cereal?" I asked him by his room door.

"No! Get away!" I heard.

I sighed. I went back to the kitchen with the other guys.

"He wont eat." I told them.

Tom shook his head.

"He is worse than Nathan!"

Nathan raised his eyebrow at him.

Oh god, his eyebrows. Those really big hairy eyebrows. But I like it like that.

"Should we throw another party?" Siva asked.

"Another?" Nathan asked confused.

Siva shrugged. "Well yeah, it helped you didnt it?"

Nathan shrugged and took a sip of his tea.

"Just give him some time" I say. "Johanna will come around"

Nathan put his tea down. "Ill go in my room." and he left. I guess saying her name made him mad. Tom went to the living room and slept on the couch. Seev and I stayed at the kitchen.

"Okay, I got a plan" Siva whispered.

"For Max?" I asked.

Siva shook his head.

"No, about you and Nath" Siva told me to sit down at the dining table while he was standing like giving a presentation.

"Ok, we dont know if Nath is into guys for sure, right?"

I nodded. Siva is walking back and forth like hes making a master plan or something.

"Well, do you know if Nath finds you attractive or at least not ugly?" Siva stopped and turned to me.

"I asked him if he was gay, who would he date. He said David Beckham, me or Max" I replied.

"Perfect! Hes totally gay for you!" Siva almost shouted.

"Shh!" I say "Tom is in the living room!" I whispered.

"Right..." Siva mumbled.

"I thought you had a plan!" I whispered loudly.

"Yeah, not really." He responded.

I rolled my eyes. This is wasting my time. I got up from my chair and headed out of the kitchen.

"Where youre going?" Siva asked

"To my room" I told him.

I got in my room and see Nathan laying on my bed. If only I can cuddle there with him. He looks so beautiful. His button nose is just perfect.

"What are you doing on my bed?" I asked as I walked in.

"I need to talk to you"

I closed my door and sat on the other side of my bed.

"About what?"

"Why did you asked me that question?" He asked and looked me in the eyes. His bright green eyes that gives me chills every time they look at me.

"Why did you ask me that the other day?" He continued.

"What question?" I already know. I just want more time to come up with the answer.

"If I was gay" He said.

I dont know what to say. I chuckle.

"It was just a question Nath" I played cool. "Why you think I asked that?"

Nathan shook his head and looked down at his hands.

"I dont know. It kinda had me thinking" He said.

"About what?" This is getting me nervous. Is he starting to get that I have feelings for him? Im pretty sure I kinda hide that from him very well. Okay..maybe not.

Nathan shook his head and got out of my bed.

"Never mind, its nothing" He said and left my room.

That was odd.

Nathans POV

I really dont know how I feel right now. Im confused and hurt at the same time. Hurt because me and Joey are no longer friends. I miss her so bad. Shes like another sister to me. My real sister, Jess, lives with my parents. I miss her too. But anyway, Joey is very important in my life and so are the lads. I lost a girlfriend and now I lost my girl best friend. Max is hurt and I dont know what side to chose from. Basically I chose Maxs side but I feel bad about criticizing Joeys boyfriend and telling her who she should date. I shouldnt have done that. But Max was devastated! What can I do?

And Im confused because of Jay. Something about him made me feel kinda fuzzy. I dont know if I like it.

I like being around him a lot.

What are you thinking Nathan!? Youre just best buds! Dont over think this.
