"chapter 8- they grew up"
summer walked down to the dock to find nate gray strumming guitar. she sat beside him resting her head on his shoulder as he strummed the instrument.
"i wish we could just stay like this forever you know." summer sighed looking up at the boy, and as their eyes met he knew she was all he could ever want.
the teenangers moment was broken up as brown walked over to them fuming, with shane gray by his side.
"sorry to break up the picnic, but summer come on." brown yelled causing the girl to get up and follow him.
"i don't need a babysitter." shane groaned.
"neither do i." summer agreed.
"seeing how you blew off your class yesterday shane, and how you blew off your kitchen duty summer. clearly you both sort of do. so summer now you can help shane instruct." brown snarled.
"i did not sign up for this shit, get my agent on the phone." summer yelled waving her phone in front of browns face.
"get my agent on the phone too." shane repeated.
"really get your agents on the phone? what happened to you both? those kids on the tv screens aren't really who either of you really are inside." brown sighed.
"what happened to the kids who just loved music?" brown added.
"they grew up." both the teenagers yelled in unison.
"big whoop!" brown yelled back.
"stop acting like the world revolves around yourselves." brown hissed.
"in my world, it does." summer smiled, flipping her hair.
"well you both are in my world now & in my world. you're both now instructors at this camp. which means you have to instruct. starting with hip hop dance at two." brown said, walking away.
"i hate it here." summer groaned.
"let's just get this shit over with." shane said as they walked into the class.
