Remus' PoV
It's been a week, Virgil has hardly eaten and had stopped leaving his room about three day after the second time I came to check on him. Patrons knocked a few times but Virgil was in to much pain to answer and just ignored it and eventually Patton stopped knocking.

I was rubbing Virgil's back as he had another coughing fit, he occasionally spat up a bit of blood. The only liquid in his body that isn't black or goopy. "You alright?" I ask him, he just shakes his head not having the strength to speak after that, probably because he had a saw throat. "Maybe I should get Deceit." I state talking to myself, "n-no don't get Deceit he's working. I-I don't want him to be behind because of m-me." He says with a scratchy voice, "Deceit would do anything for you, he cares about you so much he wouldn't care. He would deny it if you asked, but he has a massive crush on you and you have a crush on him. Don't you." I chuckle, he looks away blushing.

Virgil's PoV
Pain hits my body again like truck, "shit." I grunt, "you know, I'm suddenly regretting letting Thomas take them pills. It is not nice." I smile weakly, "it's what you wanted though? Right, that's what you said to him. 'Nothing I don't want to happen'" Remus points out, "yeah."

The pain finally goes away as I sit back, "you sure you don't want Deceit?" He asks "I'm sure." I say to him, "now I'm going to lay down and try to go to sleep without any interruptions that consist of feeling like I'm getting stabbed multiple times." I say laying down, Remus chuckles "alright, as you know I'm not going anywhere." He say from the end of my bed. I lay down and close my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep.

Remus' PoV
After about ten minutes of Virgil sleeping, someone knocked on the door. "Virgil, I haven't seen you in a few days and you haven't come down for food in a few days, can you please open the door kiddo." He says through the door, I stay silent "if you don't come out soon, I'm gonna get Roman to break this door down." Patton says sternly, I chuckle "dad mode activated."

Footsteps slowly get quieter as they leave the door. I look over at Virgil, who was tossing and turning. He looked like he was in pain. I start to shake him awake, "Virgil, Virgil. C'mon, you need to get up. Patton is going to get Roman to knock your door down if you don't go out. And there's no way in heaven they'll listen to me." He instantly shots up but crumples in pain.

He looks up at me, "if Roman knocks the door down, they're gonna see you like this. And if they see me, they will most likely kill me." I chuckle awkwardly. He sighs nodding, "alright, I'll go out but only for ten minutes." He says, I nod.

He gets up shakily, "are you sure you'll be alright? I mean what if your sick again?" I ask concerned, "I'll be fine I'll be gone for just ten minutes not too long." He says, I nod "as long as you're sure. See you in a minute." I wave as he leaves his room.
