Remus' PoV
We rise up in Thomas' living room. I look around, Patton was crying, Logan was trying to comfort Thomas, who was curled up on the floor flinching every time Logan went to touch him, and Roman who had his sword out pointing it at a cowering Virgil who was shacking on the stairs, a few steps higher then usual.

Deceit rushes up the stairs to try and comfort Virgil. "What the hell?!" I ask getting everyone's attention, other than Thomas' and Logan's. "Who the hell summoned him?!" I growl out, Patton looks at me with watery eyes "we didn't, we were just explaining to Thomas about what happened. As soon as I said Paranoia, Virgil was summoned and started panicking." He says, "and why was Roman going to attack Virgil?" I say glaring Roman, he looked like he done nothing wrong, "well he's a monster, the villain. He obviously doesn't help Thomas anymore, so it's best he's slain."

I start to get angry again, "he's not a monster. Or the Villain. He used to be your boyfriend." I say to Roman, he scoffed "he knows me. Why doesn't he just fight back? Like normal." He says, glaring a hole into the back of Deceits head, who was getting Virgil to uncurl. "I-I don't think he does, he barely Remembers Deceit and me and panicked when it was just us. So him being absolutely petrified of all of you would make sense considering when he was paranoia you despised all of us, especially him. So this makes me theorise his memories reverted back to before he was Anxiety. When he lived with us and was scared of you. He's also probably most scared of me and Roman because he was paranoia before we split so we're new in his head." I say putting the pieces together. at this point Virgil had passed out, Deceit calmly stroking his spider legs. Thomas was on the sofa with Patton comforting him now, "I never took you for an intellectual Remus." Logan says adjusting his tie, "I thought it was obvious, he only got protective of himself and hid himself when you lot was around, or there was really loud noises." I say, getting confused on how Logan hadn't realised. "Wait, why didn't he scream and panic even more when you showed up?" Roman sneers, "He wass pretty calm when Remusss came back after finishing Virgil'ss room. Sso he didn't panic to much and wass ok enough for me to explain Remus wassn't going to hurt him." Deceit says holding onto Virgil like it was his life line.

"WAIT! Virgil's room?" Patton asks from the sofa. "Yess, back at the dark mindsscape." Deceit says as I take Virgil from him so he could stand, "what do you mean? He's not going with you, you'll probably hur-" Logan cuts Roman off, "it is only logical that Virgil goes back there, he has little to no good memories of being in our living area. So to cause less 'paranoia' it would be best for him to go back to what he's familiar with." Logan finishes.

I feel Virgil start to stir in my arms, "we should go before he wakes up." I say as Deceit nodded in agreement. I sink out with Virgil in my arms to my room, it was easiest considering I was to distracted with Virgil. I carry him across the hall to his room, which was directly opposite mine. I kick the door open, and walk in. I Place Virgil onto his bed, throwing the blanket onto him. I watch him snuggle up with the octopus and snake plushy. "He's so cute." I silently squeal.

I leave his room closing the door behind me. I turn and see an upset snake, "what's wrong?" I ask him, he sniffs "as soon as you stayed Roman didn't say that I was as helpful as Virgil." I sigh bringing him into a hug. When Deceit was sad he could hardly control his lying.

He pulls away wiping his eyes, "is he not alright?" He asks, "yeah, he's asleep cuddled up to the stuffed Octopus and snake I gave him." Forcing myself not to squeal at the memory. He chuckles, "I'm not going to bed early. Badnight." He waves going to his room, I don't blame him. It's been a long day.
