She eyed the Deputy. She knew he had been thinking of something since he seemed quieter the past few days, but she didn't ask about it. When he would leave the cabin to go help others, he would come back even more quiet than on the last mission. She was sure dealing with all these cultists had a toll on him, just as it did on her. Maybe even worse. She watches him open the bunker and waltz in. Eli turned when they both walked in, and the leader smiled.

"Hey Dep." His eyes then landed on her, and she held her head high. "Blake."

"Oh hey! It's Blake." Wheaty comes around his table over to the group. "It's too bad Eli scared you off, I was gonna try and give you some shooting lessons or something."

"I didn't scare her off, and since she passed the Shooting Gallery, I don't think she needs lessons."

"Anyway Eli, you radioed me?" The Deputy asks and he nods.

"I got a job for ya," he says. "Remember the Grand View Hotel? That shithole we pulled you out of. We need you to head back there. Jacob nabbed a Whitetail by the name of Briggs. And he's using the same brain melting nonsense he tried on you. All in hopes that Briggs will give up the Wolf's Den. I don't think our boy can hold out as long as you did. And if he gives up our location, we're done. So, we gotta move on this quickly..."

"Why are you with the Deputy?" Wheaty asks and she turns to him, letting the two adults talk. Her eyes glance over his braids and backward turned cap.

"He is training me," She says, "It's been almost a week now."

"We haven't been getting a lot of responses from the Deputy, so we were a bit worried, but it's good to know that."

She thinks for a second, turning to the concrete floor. The Deputy has taken care of both heralds, helping the people of this county, solving problems the locals can't solve themselves. And these Whitetails need the Deputy to take care of Jacob...while she has been holding the man back all because she wants to learn how to fight. She felt a bit of guilt, looking back up to listen to Eli and the Deputy.

"...Here's what we're gonna do instead. Wheaty's cooked up a little deprograming package, same thing we used on you. We need you to swap out the tape they got running in Brigg's room with the one I'm gonna give ya. And then, well... then we'll see what happens. If everything goes smooth, our guy comes back to earth and if he doesn't... we'll deal with that when the time comes." She hears Eli finish, and she turns to the Deputy who nods, immediately understanding the situation. Dep glances to her and walks over.

"I'm gonna have you stay here while I take care of this. Alright?" He says and she kind of wanted to go, but according to what she knew... The Grand View Hotel was where she had been taken. Where she was 'mind washed'. She isn't sure she could walk into that place again. She isn't sure how the Deputy was able to even go to that place again, he seemed much stronger than her. She isn't sure what she would do if she heard that song again...especially with what happened with her father.

"I'll be back soon, and we'll continue your training."

"Okay." She nods. "Be safe."

Dep chuckles a bit and leaves the bunker saying, "I always turn out safe!"

He said he will continue her training, but he had a lot to do. Jacob is still out there, and so is Joseph Seed. Hurting people...their friends. She has already learned a lot already...so maybe taking a break right now is what would be best.
