"Eli!... No!...No!" Tammy runs over to Eli's body on the floor, glancing up at Wheaty.

"What the fuck did you do?" Wheaty was quick in yelling, pointing his pistol at the Deputy who suddenly seemed to realize what he just did.

"Wheaty!" Blake herself stood up and put her hands up to the two, trying to calm them down when she wasn't even sure if she was calm herself, adrenaline rushing through her veins.

"You fucking killed him! You fucking piece of shit!" He yells and she could see the immediate sorrow in his eyes as tears followed.

"Wait... Wheaty!" Tammy goes over to Wheaty as he had pushed the Deputy against the wall.

"He trusted you! I trusted you!" He yells and she felt tears start to blur her vision.

Tammy pulls on the pistol in Wheaty's hands, "Wait. Wheaty. It was Jacob. No!" He tries to struggle against the woman's force. "Listen to me! It was Jacob! We've seen this before...Ronnie. Parker... This is what he does! And we let him right in."

Jacob did this... he got to him... Blake turns to the Deputy, then Eli's corpse on the ground. Wheaty didn't want to but gave in and Tammy took the gun. Shock overwhelmed him as he slowly backed away, turning to Eli. He walks over to his body, dropping down to his knees. Tammy grabs the Deputy's collar and glares at him.

"I'm sorry.. I-" The Deputy tried to find the words.

"You find that motherfucker. You find Jacob and you kill him." Tammy says, pushing on the Deputy's collar towards the exit. "Or next time I see you so help me God..." She said, glaring at the man. "I'll kill you myself."

Deputy turned towards Wheaty who held Eli's hand on the floor and then at Blake behind Tammy, he seemed speechless.

Her eyes were full of fear as she looked at him, then she watched as he bolted out of the room. She leaned down to where Wheaty was next to Eli, and she cried silently. She was sure Eli didn't like her, but he was always right. She was young, but what does youth have to do with the will to fight?

She wiped her eyes and got up, going to the exit then around the corner to the Deputy. He stood there about to leave, and she kept her distance, seeing the rifle still in the man's hand.

"Be careful." She says softly and she sees the Deputy grip the gun in her hands. The man only nods, his eyes sunken and regretful, shutting the bunker door behind him. She turns around and goes back into the room. She gets on her knees beside Tammy as they both mourn their friend. She stayed quiet, soon enough hearing gunshots up above ground.

A good amount of time passes before the radio speaks up. Everyone turned to hear the Deputy's voice "Jacob's dead."

Tammy got up, wiping her eyes before speaking into the radio.

"Deputy...I... I don't know if 'Thank you' is the right thing to say but... Well, Eli's death won't be in vain now. I'm sorry about what happened. Truly. You ain't the only one to blame... But now ain't the time to mourn or point fingers... That Deputy Pratt of yours and whole bunch of our Whitetails are wasting away in Jacob's Armory -- Get moving. We're countin' on you."

She eyes Tammy but then turns to Wheaty as he walks out of the room.

"He might need a little more time..." Tammy says, and she nods. She hugs the woman, and they try not to look at the corpse. "I'm gonna move him out the bunker."
