There are many relationship goals set among couples. They differ according to their personalities and their perspective of a commitment. Most people look for a relationship that inspires them, shows them things others never had the chance to witness before, share a connection with someone that is deemed as unique and demonstrate how much they care daily.

Growing up as a plus-size woman, I didn't have much experience in relationships. Having only three boyfriends in my twenty-eight years of my life didn't give me the courage that most women have in their commitment goals, but I did have them. I wanted it all. I wanted the husband, the kids, and the big house. I didn't know how far Brian, and I were going to go, but I understood that slowly falling for him gave me the urge to have it all with him. Those thoughts were the ones making me reliable to get carried away with my feelings.

Turning on the lights of the entrance, Brian urged me to come inside his home. It was a beautiful house. Neither huge nor small, it was perfectly decorated. Holding one of the bags of Chinese takeout food, I followed him to the bar setting he had within his kitchen.

"Be right back. I am going to put your bag and purse in the room," Brian said before he walked away towards a stair that led to the upper part of the house. I put the food bags on top of the counter and walked towards a transparent sliding door that led to the back patio and pool area.

The scene before me was mesmerizing. The illumination of the moon gave light to some regions of the patio, making a romantic and intimate setting. Brian had fantastic taste in decorations. Most of his furniture was color black, gray, and white, while the fabric looked to be that of leather.

"Enjoying the view?" Brian whispered as his arms wrapped around my waist, locking his hands in front of me. Feeling his chin on my left shoulder, I turned to that side.

"You have a beautiful home, and that view is sincerely amazing," I responded, pointing towards the patio. Brian slowly turned me around. He looked into my eyes and gave me a small peck on the lips. "You are amazing, and beautiful," he whispered, staring at me.

Blushing, I smiled. "You are amazing," I rejoiced.

Brian and I closed our eyes as our lips met halfway. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I felt his hands around my waist. Pushing my body to his made me want to kiss him deeper. Feeling his tongue inside my mouth asking for permission, gave me that urge to bit his lower lip slightly.

Hearing a slow moan escape his lips made me blush harder. I could feel the bulge of his pants. He wanted me as much as I wanted him. The sudden growl coming from my stomach made Brian stop. Feeling embarrassed, I covered my face with my hands as I laughed shameful. Brian laughed and hugged me, kissing the top of my head.

"I love kissing you, but I would be a jerk if I didn't feed my girl," he expressed, making me look at him in surprise. Hearing those words come out of his mouth felt right, but I did not know exactly if he meant them like I did.

"What?" he asked with curiosity as he observed my face expression.

"Your girl?" I asked, smiling. He returned the gesture and nodded his head.

"Yes, I want you to be my girl. I want us to be together, committed to one another while we continue to see where this goes. I don't want to share you with anyone, Lilian," he confessed, making me smile wider.

"I feel the same, and I love the sound of that," I rejoiced, kissing him on the lips one more time. Knowing that Brian wanted me to be his girlfriend was something I didn't think was possible until those words escaped his lips. He wanted to date me. Brian didn't want me to be with anyone else. The feeling was mutual, and he understood that as well, once I made it clear, of course.

Anna was right all along. I was crazy about Brian, and knowing that he wanted the same as me made me believe that I was on the right path.

For an hour, Brian and I sat in his dining table as we ate our Chinese food. We spoke about old things that we once covered in our nights' conversation as well as new topics. Getting to know each other more was something we always managed to complete because we ever had something to talk about. It was one of the things I liked the most about him. We had some things in common, and those that we didn't share, we made a promised to complete together so we could learn from one another.

Everything was going perfectly. The night passed, and Brian and I enjoyed our moments together. After we ate, I helped him clean the kitchen. There wasn't much to do since we didn't use much of his utensils, but together we still managed to organize the mess we had made while eating and drinking wine.

Brian suggested a few hours in the pool. Because it was the summer, and it was California, the night didn't bring much breeze or coldness, which was perfect for a swim together. Changing into my bathing suit in the guest bathroom allowed me to admire the decorations in there. Either Brian was a decorating genius, or he had hired a professional to do the work. Either way, the place looked perfect.

Every color and furniture mixed perfectly with his personal and his home style. Looking myself in the mirror as I wore a retro, black, halter bathing suit, I felt my stomach growl in nervousness. I didn't look bad. I looked reasonably good. My curves were nicely shown in all the right places, but knowing that Brian never dated a big girl before gave me that slight insecurity that still lived deep within me.

He said he wanted me to be his girl. Why was I still thinking about my body when it was evident that he liked what he saw? I didn't understand why all these thoughts came out when I knew Brian wanted me for who I was. It was something I needed to fix, because my mind couldn't handle negativity when I was trying to be happy with him.

Ignoring those negative ideas, I smiled at the reflection in front of me. I got out of the bathroom and walked downstairs to meet Brian in the patio. When I opened the sliding door, he was already inside the pool. Admiring his physic and the fantastic tattoos that decorated his body, I blushed. He was not only a great human being, but also a handsome man. It wasn't the first time I've seen him in nothing but a swimwear, so I didn't understand why I was enjoying it as if it was.

"Get in, you are missing the good stuff," Brian joked, splashing a little of water my way. I laughed and walked towards the small cemented stair that led to the inside of the water. It felt nice because it wasn't warm or cold. It was the perfect temperature in between.

As soon as I emerged, my body inside the pool, Brian hugged me, turning me around. Laughing at his playful manner made me feel safe. It was good that so far, we were having fun with each other. We had time to enjoy the little things life gave us, without taking things either too seriously nor with boredom.

We spent a significant amount of time in the pool. We swam together. We played with a beach ball he had lying around, and we even had the chance to steal kisses here and there. After a while, Brian and I stood in one of the corners as he held me around the waist. Putting my arms around his neck allowed him to kiss me deeply. Feeling his warm lips against mine was something I never regretted.

"I want you, baby. You have no idea how much," he whispered when he stopped the kiss for a moment.

"I want you too, Brian," I replied, looking into his eyes.

We continued the kiss as his hands roamed all over my soft curves. The kiss became intense as we both panted and moaned at each bite, taste, and pull. "Let me have you tonight, Lilian. I don't think I can wait any longer," he confessed, trying to catch his breath. I nodded my head, smiling.

"I need verbal consent," he said, laughing. I giggled. "Yes," I simply responded. One minute we were at the pool, and the other minute I was following Brian to his room, for a night I knew was going to be unforgettable.
